One of Leeds and Southampton will probably be the favourites but not many stand out .

Really tough to gauge people’s expectations for next season. We certainly aren’t as strong as those coming down last season were, you could argue tbose 3 had the best squads to come down from the premier league ever maybe. Certainly imo as a 3 they were.

Personally I’d be shocked if we were up there looking at autos, I think in and around playoffs is about where we will end up but depends who we keep. I think there will be significant churn in the team.

Well goodbye to what was envisaged as Xanado or nirvana before the season started…
But ended up being an inevitable miss match against the big boys
We made friends amongst spectators and pundits alike during mid season games with our team spirit and never say die attitude
They say cream rises to the top and that flotsam and jetsam flows to the bottom…
We’ll being honest we were boxing above our weight and the league table doesn’t lie
If it wasn’t for our keeper playing so well then it could have been more embarrassing
Beggars can’t be choosers and we could only play with what fit players we had left to try and keep us up
But ultimately we couldn’t cope with injuries and bad decisions especially in defensive positions
Definitely our Achilles heel this season
The Bournemouth debacle sealed our fate
The late arsenal winner too was demoralising
But least we’ve been there
Done that
And got the t shirt
I don’t think we’ll be mixing it with the hoyty toyty premier league again until or if our new stadium is ever open
The premier league will be eventually full of 30k stadiums and the likes of the rest of us will be occasional temporary visitors
Without the foundation to sustain a foothold in the world’s most competitive league
Hay ho … great memories and never to be forgotten moments good and bad to learn from

Definitely get the same vibe as you. Glad we’ve had the experience and it was a very entertaining season. But that’s what it was, an experience to tick off and enjoy rather than the usual feeling you get of supporting and living and breathing every win and defeat.

Being on match of the day and all the trappings of being a “Premier League Club” but it all felt a bit of a novelty and weirdly the stakes felt remarkably low. I lived and breathed the conference seasons, the League 2 and League 1 promotions every defeat felt huge and every victory a relief in some sense. The playoffs and the final are probably my peak footballing experiences which I doubt will ever be surpassed but when we got here it was entertaining but I wasn’t quite as enthralled to it. Strange feeling, almost like it was a bit of fun but back to the reality next year!

Well you might as well have spent millions to try and bounce back now as Leicester did and seem to have got away with it as the Premier league cannot punish them as they got relegated.
