O'Kane has double break (tibia and fibula) according to Leeds on Facebook.

Edit - sorry for repetition - the Centre Half is obviously a faster typer than me, despite his weight...

O'kane has fractured his left tibia and fibula. Having surgery up at the L&D today and then headed back to Leeds.

So i think we wont be seeing him again. Real shame as he looked a cut above in the brief appearances I saw of him, hope he gets back at some point this season.
Double leg break then - so a lot worse than expected. That is a horrid injury from really a pretty innocuous challenge. That is the same injury that Jonathan Smith had at Barnet a few years ago that kept him out for 9 months.

You matched our diamond midfield to try and get more of a foothold in the game, the player who came off was a wide player who wouldn't fit into that formation so I get why your manager made that change. It didn't work though.

Thought I recognised the full back, was the Stevenage full back who played when we beat them 7-1 last season. He cant like playing at the Kenny much! Odd to see him playing in League 1.
That’s the whole problem, he’s not a winger - he just keeps playing him there.

Such a shame about O'Kane, hopefully no complications with his recovery and he is back playing at some point.

Seems to be one a season with leg breaks for us. O'Kane, Berry, McGeehan, Green and Smith. Wonder if Jervis/Gambin may be recalled if there is a clause in their deals to do so.

Very bad news. Was looking forward to seeing how much of an impact he would make. We certainly do seem to be unlucky with those type of injuries. Jervis is an out and out forward who wouldn't be able to play that type of midfield role. So fortunately he'll be staying at Wimbledon. At least I bloody hope so!!

Well Lee may be pressed into duty at the top of the diamond more now that we are a midfielder down, so he could be required up top.

Can't recall from loans until the transfer window reopens I believe. Which is good in the case of Jervis...

Hope not, Lee doesn't do enough defensively to justify playing at the tip of the diamond (spit). It effectively means that we would play with three forwards and a bloody great gap in midfield, as at Peterborough.
Shinnie worked his nuts off yesterday, going forward AND defensively, and deserves a run.
Plus the interchanging of positions between him and Grant yesterday was good to watch.
