Finally, both teams get a week off after such a busy start to the season. Don't think we've had one busier since we got promoted back in the Football League. Not sure how they expected clubs to play at the same intensity and level of performance at the start of the season, where fitness can be an issue after a busy summer and teams still gelling.
Grimsby have had a very decent start to the season on the goalscoring front, thrashing Stevenage 5-2 last weekend. In Omar Bogle, they have a big strong striker currently joint top of the goalscoring charts. They should be pushing towards the top 10, if not the play offs come early May.
Luton could conceivably be 18/18 from their six games, having been in winning positions in the two games where points were dropped. The club is on a high with a successful development side beating a strong Gillingham side last midweek in the EFL Trophy, plans for a new stadium well on course to being delivered and a togetherness between the supporters at the team. They undoubtedly put in their best league performance since returning to League football yesterday v Wycombe. They'll be hoping to extend their slender lead at the top of the division going into Autumn.
