Never noticed that, that's quality :bg::bg::bg: he's such a pure unrepentant dick, love it.

Watch him at corners the next time you go to an away game, thats when he normally does it.

Funny thing is he always asks the keeper before taking it, drinks then pours the rest the away then gives the empty bottle a little shake with a smile on his face before handing it back to the keeper. God knows why they let him take it in the first place they must be wise to it by now!

Well, what can I say we were absolutely blown away by Luton who, not only were the far better team obviously, but were well up for the game which we weren't. Myself and quite a lot of other Boro fans were applauding some of the outstanding attacking play by Luton.
My big fear was that Luton would come out the blocks quickly and the game would be over before it started for us, pretty much the same thing happened at Swindon, that was exactly how it panned out. I didn't think we'd get anything out of the game but didn't think we'd concede 7, it was our heaviest defeat since the 1980's.

Difficult game for us on Tuesday, hope we can bounce back.

Difficult to take but as a football fan just got ta give kudos to Luton.

Another absolute battering. This just feels like the season Luton went up from the Conference. The Stevenage defence did themselves no favours today though, some slack work on the first three goals and they just seemed to give up going off the last few.

'fess up too, which one of you Luton lot was it that was whinging about Berry doing nothing?!

Yep, our defence was non- existent yesterday. Wilkinson hasn't been first choice Centre back recently but think Sarll put him in yesterday because of his Luton connections hoping he'd perform against his former club. On that showing he'll be not get picked again for a while.

Very sporting reply. Not easy to take a defeat like that and to be honest apart from the last 20 minutes Stevenage did at times play some decent football. Problem was that yesterday we were on fire. I'm sure every team has had days like that when confidence is sky high and evey player on the pitch is on their game. A pleasure when it happens but not for the opposition. There are a few games I can remember when its been the reverse. I saw that Stevenage fans were queueing for the bar well before half time. :bg:

Luton have won every league match at home this season when they've had 11 men on the pitch for the duration.

Not a bad turnaround from the last couple of years.

I mean, this is a slightly underwhelming brag when you got marmalised 3-0 in the other one and have only played about six home games.

Twas me. Because up until yesterday he looked totally lost in a Luton shirt. He was being played, but I can't say he was playing better than Pelly Ruddock, Olly Lee, Alan McCormack, perhaps Andrew Shinnie or Luke Gambin in the heart of the midfield. For a player who scored 20 goals from the midfield and one that we paid £300,000 for, I'd expect him to hit the ground running. I hope he'll kick on now; he needs to backup yesterday which I expect him to do.

We wouldn't have lost 3-zip if we had Scott Cuthbert on the pitch for the last hour.

The point I was trying to make is that we were nowhere near it at home for the last couple of seasons on a consistent basis and has prevented us being in League One right now.

It's possible to have a man sent off and not completely cave in, you know. Not the sign of a team who should be champions elect. :err:

Because we were still trying to win the game, and the tactics were a bit stupid in hindsight.

Said this in the Accrington thread and ill say it again, this is very, very harsh IMO. He was playing well and was showing promising signs, he has in my view always looked a classy player in a Luton shirt just one or two things in the final third weren't quite coming off for him but his all around game has looked good since he signed in my view. To me it was, and indeed is, self evident that there is much more to come from him.

To say he looked "lost" is way OTT.

Nobody's claiming we are invincible we will have bad days and lose games just like every other club in the country. The signs are that the good days will far out number the bad days. At least in our present run of form.

"we are invincible" I hope our fans don't remember that song!

I'm winding you up, obviously, but Kenny's "you've just seen the champions" comment earlier made me laugh. A long way to go and you're only third.

Berry is twice the player Mcgeehan is if we're talking box to box and getting goals.

I'm amazed no-one from league one took a punt on him as he is clearly head and shoulders above this league. He has everything to his game and for a small lad he is great in the air.

Still can't believe we've sold him to Luton for peanuts but buzzing for him getting a hatty. I'm sure we'll have a promotion fee as well as a sell on fee.

Even if he hadn't scored yesterday, he would have been my choice for MoM. Tremendous energy, lung bursting runs, winning headers against taller players, great ball control, and some of his passes had me wondering how on earth he had seen the option. (By the way, most of these attributes are missing from Pelly's game) All three goals were placed, whereas most players close their eyes and hope for the best.
Superb all round performance.

His defensive work was excellent too throwing himself into blocks etc. Excellent display we all hoped he was capable of.
