I'll give credit that the two Macc scorers were the best two on the park by a country mile.
Vales performance was absolutely disgusting and 2-1 flattered us.
A goal from Crookes side of the pitch yet again.
The Vassell business was so uncalled for and pathetic from him.
It's not like Vale treated him like dirt it just didn't work out for him .
Thing is supporters get in trouble for less and nothing will be done about his behaviour. Absolutely shat his pants though by the tunnel. If we'd been booing him all game maybe I could of understood it more but he was and is a complete irrelevance as a footballer. The lad has issues .
Well played Macc fully deserved and a disgrace from us.
With our next two away games being Bradford and Crewe our home form is saving us from another struggling season at the bottom

To be fair to Theo he has apologised for his actions on Twitter.

That's decent of him obviously caught up in the emotion of it as like I said it's not like we treated him poorly.

You sure Darren? Osadebe??? I wonder what's changed then.

Tbh though, I had heard the lad had talent but both Dunne and Derry didn't rate him as he barely featured at all for us. There were some rumours at the time about him having a big ego problem (think Ibra one source told me!) and a very questionable attitude, especially when he was not being picked which was most of the time.

As for Macc this year, they may not have any big names in their side but they really are a hard working side and I find this trait to mean quite a lot in the lower leagues.

How was he lads?
A very hard working player , no frills but gets the job done. The type you don't really notice until they don't play and then you realise their contribution.
He got his place through an injury to Jak McCourt who came on as sub yesterday so it will be interesting to see who the manager picks next week.

Guarantee Vales 1st away win comes Vs us. Probably 1-0 after being battered all game.

Never know, our best performances have come against the so called footballing sides as we can use the press... as long as Askey doesn’t randomly change it.

I'm sure mate can only go on the one game I've seen. Was a livewire and stood out in general as a nuisance.

At this moment in time it's an easy Crewe win. We're a shambles away from home and Crewe seem to have a settled and talented side. But we all know that football doesn't work like that...

Pretty much this.

You don't need a team full of stars (see Notts County), to be successful in this league. Simply work harder than the opposition and have maybe two players who have pace or a bit of skill.

It amazes me how league 2 managers on the whole still don't get it. Blow your budget on 2 pacy or skillful players and use the rest to fill with hard grafters.

Vale had neither the graft nor the game changers with pace or skill yesterday and surprise surprise.

I think it was what angered fans the most yesterday, as one thing we haven’t generally lacked this season is fight and togetherness but was nowhere to be seen.
