Liverpool had more penalty shouts than clear cut chances ..

Handball looked like one tbh.

Nice back heel ..he is injured or just hurt pride ?

The hand ball on Valencia was pretty clear cut though.

Our goal will only make this less endurable tbh.

The ref will say his hand wasn't moving towards the ball and was in a normal running position so it's not a handball. Debatable like always but I can see how it wasn't given.

What could Klopp possibly be complaining about now? Lovren made two terrible tackles in a row. Not the refs fault.

Edit: Klopp was yelling at Lovren the replay shows. I

That is probably a foul on Mane by Fellani

Not even Allardyce produces the shit United have delivered since the O.G. It’s almost unfathomable how destructive they’ve been.

Well, who'd a thunk? Liverpool's unbeaten run comes to an end, Man Utd more clinical in the first half. A great win for the home team, Liverpool need to do more work on that defence...

Well deserved, took a freak moment to let Liverpool back into the game. Can concentrate fully on the CL now.

Ugh. Horrible. There's just nothing enjoyable about Liverpool-United anymore, and while we had two very solid penalty shouts we didn't create one single chance all game.

United deservedly won.

Sure, but you can't get a side pumped like this for every game. It's so mentally exhaustive to play like you lot are doing today, but against us, the few times you play us, it's very effective.

Dont need to play like that against 15 of the other teams in the league

As a big game tactic i'm fairly open to it, as long as we look to have a go on the break. We were pathetic after the bizarre own goal but got it done, before that possesion or not we were by miles the better side.

As for the pen shouts dont believe the handball is being contested, his arm is by his side and the ball hits it, nothing he can do, the pull on Salah is 50/50 , ten years ago you are never getting a pen but they are being given more and more.

Disappointed but one thing you can't say about Mourinho is that he doesn't know how to get results in this type of game, even a draw today for them would have fallen into this category. His teams are shite in terms of entertainment, but they get the points when it matters and they're now as good as nailed on for 2nd. We made things so easy for them, they didn't even need to play well to get those 3 points, and that simply isn't acceptable.

Onwards to the next, we're still finishing top 4 and you could say fighting over the scraps left by the Arabian PR exercise doesn't mean a whole lot. But these games are always important and it's annoying to come away without anything.

That's the second time I've seen you claim that. Yet I read somewhere that since our loss to Spurs in October only two teams have conceded less goals, one of who was the team we have just lost to. Perhaps a little more research is in order?

Missed the game...seems like our attack was toothless. Need Coutinho esque player against bus parkers. Anyway dead rubber game for both teams, not too fussed.

Always great to beat the vermin, especially when they were so confident they'd win  Here's hoping they continue to overestimate themselves, mind the gap.

Freak og aside Eric Bailly was brilliant, hadn't started a game since November 5th and put in a great performance. He's on another level to our other CBs. Hopefully he can stay fit for the rest of the season as he could make a real difference.

You really are a classy guy.
After the shocking scenes against Patrice Evra a few weeks ago I don't think Liverpool fans are in a position to talk about class. Fucking vermin.

We'll fuck 'em.

1-3
Utd 1 - 3 Liverpool.

I'm talking about class, and if you bothered to look you would have seen my comments about the said fans.

Like I said, a real classy guy.

Oooh your original. Christ you want us to have no confidence in our team with the way we have been playing? I still think we'll finish ahead of your rugby club anyway, so all good.

I'm just about to watch the highlights with my hand around my willy.

I must note that it is satisfying to see Liverpool's "unstoppable" attack be so toothless on the day that we had to score one for them to keep things respectable.

Hands up everyone who’d rather have Mourinho in charge than Klopp?

Well, that looked simple enough.

Liverpool looked poor, having to shoot speculatively from distance to register some shots.

That's a nice five point gap over Liverpool now, excellent.

Spurs are one point behind Liverpool with a game in hand now and Chelsea are four points behind but Liverpool still have to go to Stamford Bridge in May. Very interesting. Klopp better hope he manages to stay in the top four because G-Dragon wants him to be sacked if they miss out.
