Second phase is the runner, whose job is to run with the ball until he finds a ball behind the back line.
Third phase is the finish.

It's incredibly effective when executed well. It's so ridiculously difficult to defend against when it hits.

Matic's energy after the tackle to open the space for Lukaku was superb too, fantastic counter attack. Great start for the debutants, the midfield looks hugely improved with Matic in there already. United have been crying out for a player like this for ages. Very promising.

Lukaku now has a second goal and Rashford has just crashed a shot against the post which deserved a goal. Unlucky, Marcus..!!

Lukaku looks hungry and if he keeps this level of enthusiasm up for the entire season, he's going to be a handful for anybody.

United look pretty fluid and as game as West Ham are, it looks like the last twenty minutes are a damage limitation exercise for them. I think they'll leave Old Trafford glad to have got this particular fixture out of the way for this season.
