As we're playing Barrow on Saturday I watched the second half last night and MK really were completely toothless. They tried the odd bit of football, but I never truly believed they'd find an equaliser once Barrow got ahead.

Scott Lindsey last 15 games:

- 2 wins, 3 draws, 10 defeats in last 15 (13.3% win rate)
- 9 points from a possible 45
- Worst form in the league
- 14 scored, 27 conceded (GD -13)
- 0.6 PPG

Mike Williamson last 15 games:

- 5 wins, 2 draws, 8 defeats (33.3% win rate)
- 17 points from a possible 45
- 26 scored, 37 conceded (GD -11)
- 1.13 PPG

We are doomed.

How about the problem being your crafty astute DOF…….who used Carlisle to get himself tied to a nice healthy contract and now doesn’t matter to him how sh*t a job he does.

Oh, most fans are fed up with Sweeting too.

Our problems seem to be systemic. Beyond management given we keep changing and nothing changes.

You’d say he’d outstayed his welcome by a few months. Not an ideal situation for any manager coming in with a takeover hovering over them as well. Believe Andy Crosby has been there coaching so if they put him in caretaker charge his first game would be against us. Strange how things work out if that happened.

Let's hope for our sake they don't get a new manager bounce.

Adkins should have gone months ago. It is clear he’d lost the dressing room and whoever takes over in the short-term should get more respect from the players. However the current squad is spineless, there are real issues with scoring and the replacement is likely to be of the cheap skate variety. They might make a bit of a difference, but unlikely to do enough to save our bacon.

That was the only chance tranmere had.

It may do nothing but you never know different approach different ideas……may work.

And while both are poor this season in Patrick and Dennis there are goals there somewhere if you can get a manager who gets them firing than plodding along.

I was thinking Morecambe were going to have the edge over Tranmere due to their respective managers, but Adkins getting the boot could make things interesting for that final relegation spot if Tranmere get a new manager bounce.

Couldn't write the script any better could you. Great guy Crosby, not sure he's any long term option as manager as he seems a better coach than leader. Incidentally his first game as interim Vale manager albeit in different circumstances when Darrell Clarke had to step away for a while was against yourselves at Prenton Park.

Lindsey anyone?

Wasn't long ago you were gloating and winding us up about using the free money you got for Williamson to buy Lindsey with.

Maybe it's just that players and managers who go to MK are just not inspired enough to do well for a club who don't have proper fans and any atmosphere.

Williamson did a lot better with the players at MK than he did with the players at Carlisle.

Scott Lindsey has indeed been fired.

I’ve lost count of how many managers we have now gone through since Karl Robinson (and his long tenure) left nearly a decade ago.

Wouldn’t surprise me if we end up back with Karl Robinson either ironically.

Ian Evatt must be a candidate for this job?
