Currie's style of attacking play is pretty spicy, likes to pass through the thirds quickly but does give you the shits at the back from time to time.

His teams tend to be pretty good at set pieces, especially Korma's,

Darren Currie from Barnet the latest name to be thrown into the mix.

The only thing that is more attractive about Macc Town than us is that you’re in League 2 and we’re not. Not being able to guarantee that your salary will be paid on time or at all is not a great incentive to join. Having said that, he is only on a monthly rolling contract with us so he’d be pretty cheap to poach.

Yeah I've got it on good knowledge he'll be announced on Monday.

Why can't we just be boring for a bit. A couple of seasons of nothingness would be fucking delightful.

A takeover at the top would be better wouldn't it?

If Macc weren't paying Campbell, will they be able to pay McMahon? Or has he agreed to work for free?

Graham Kavanagh once offered to relegate Hartlepool for free*, wonder if he'd do the same for Macclesfield.

*Hartlepool said no, they were more than capable of organising their relegation without his help.

Fuck knows. I presume that all outstanding payments have now been sorted but God knows how their paying the current squad.

I seriously have no idea how we satisfied the EFL we could operate this season.

He often loses the dressing room though due to the shite music he puts on in there before games, his favourite is Korma Chameleon by Culture Club.

You sure? I heard he was quite partial to a bit of this:

One extreme to the other ?
I follow most levels but have genuinely never heard of him
Comes with decent reviews from his time at Ebbsfleet to be fair. A strange appointment still though. No idea if he's relocating from down south, plus Steve Gritt his assistant is a southerner too.

Only time will tell I guess.

I floated his name amongst our support when we were looking last year with a similar 'who?' response, we got Keith Curle...

Those on here whose teams have been in the conference recently will know of his record with Ebbsfleet and their style of play. I'm hopeful he'll do well here, especially as he's inheriting a decent looking squad to work with.

Never heard of him, he used to play for Port Vale, your club
My excuse is I was banned at the time but I still know players of that time. Completely passed me by. 5 games on a short term contract.
However yes you are right I look a tit

I remember him, he was a classy midfielder, as you would expect from a West Ham player, I`m surprised he didn`t have a more illustrious career after he left us.

Didn't he have a massive budget at Ebbsfleet?

Ebbsfleet had some serious money behind them at the time, though.

Dino Maarmia canned by Stevenage.

Odd decision. Missed the play offs by 1 point last, doing a respectable job on what can't be a massive budget. Now after a bad 7 games, he gets sacked? Feels harsh. Maybe Stevenage fans feel differently?
