What's a dispersal order?

I've just checked out that Mailbox, that'll be too far for my mates dad to walk. Hoping there is somewhere closer which is away fans friendly?

The club allow away fans in the centre spot or whatever it's called nowadays don't they? It's directly opposite the away end behind where the exec boxes are. I know it gets rather busy in there though. I thought I read the Square Sail on the Brayford was the designated watering hole for the Staggies, though that's still about a 15-20 minute walk from SB.

For the 2nd weekend in a row I'm up earlier for football than I am for work. Bloody £44 from Manchester to Lincoln - not impressed.

Tomorrow will be a real acid test, it's time for Mansfield to start performing, we've seen in it glimpses, just not in total. we've a top 3 side and budget, start performing as such.

Irrespective of what's been said as banter on here, by management or whatever it's nice that Lincoln are back, no side should ever experience that dog shit league below. - league football produces game like this

Ahh it's still too far for him to walk unfortunately. We were hoping to get in somewhere on the high street where we've had drinks before, is that now a no go zone?

Honestly the pubs along there are full of Lincoln fans, you can try the one I go in after the game the Golden Cross which is the nearest one to the ground but it'll be rammed but they will serve away fans in there or they did before the crowds went silly.
Try the social club.
Until the Oldham game last season most of the pubs were as they've been for years now empty and dying all change now.

Golden Cross probably your best bet yeah and it's closest pub to the ground. High street. Grimsby sometimes get it designated to them. Don't get it muddled up with the Golden Eagle which is further down. If that's too busy you'll be able to get a drink in the Millers Arms about a minute away. Fairly quiet in there. Front door's always locked you have to go round the side.

This is embarrassing, worst we've played for well over a year.

"Even sides like yourselves?" County and Lincoln are both bigger clubs than little old Mansfield. We should both be above you by right anyway, however much you throw at it.

You've only been getting 3000 home fans this season, as a club you're punching above your weight in 11th to be honest. You're in the Yeovil/Crawley/Cheltenham bracket. Pretty small fry. Luton/ Lincoln/Swindon/County/Cov/Chesterfield are all well above you in the food chain. So stop with the illusions of grandeur and give your head a wobble.

What a load of b*****ks
You are deluded
Every team in that division apart from perhaps
Accy Chelt Coventry (Cov are big) can be and have been as big or as little as each other, we get a fan base that fluctuates between 3-6 thousand
We had an average higher than current 10 years ago, when you've had a club asset stripped it takes years to regain confidence and to build up the fan base,
Just because you get a better crowd today means nothing about the size of your club or ours,
Live with it!. We are all as big and as little as each other.
You tool !

Lincoln played so well today and were so unlucky. Boswick absolutely ran the show and Cowleys got his tactics spot on. On another day that would have been 4 or 5-1 and Lincoln would have had another 3 points. In reality, everyone knows Lincoln should be on 24 points.

With that first half performance, had we played anyone remotely decent they'd have been out of sight. Luckily, we were playing Lincoln

Not too downhearted about that one, it had 0-0 written all over it but Mansfield won it thanks to a bit of quality from their right back White (who impressed me by the way) in the lead up to Rose's winner. We were in control of the first half and had two or three half chances, but second half our lack of creativity really came to the fore.

Mansfield were functional, solid and did what was required to get your typical smash and grab win away from home but I was expecting a little more given the squad they've assembled. Their defence is very good, but I can't even remember any of their midfielders other than MacDonald. Angol and Hemmings didn't do a great deal up front, but Rose made a difference when he came off the bench. Why doesn't he start?

Good numbers from Mansfield but I was a little disappointed with their noise. Until they scored there only seemed to be a group of 30/40 lads down the front who tried to get anything going. Still, good win for them and they'll obviously be up there at the end of the season.

I thought that was an absolute dog shit of a game, perhaps due to defences being on top but performance wise, it was one of lower mid-table than anything remotely promotion material from either side. Mind you, one of those games that you love as the away side if you win 1-0.

0-0 looked to be written all over it after 30 minutes or so. There wasn't really a clear cut chance in the game but I thought we were more of a threat in the first half, particularly in the final 15 minutes. Second half Mansfield were happy to sit back and hope for a mistake/bit of quality, which happened. Looked like Farman/Dickie/Raggett/whoever ran into each other from the cross. That said, Logan still had to make a save or two whereas Farman didn't have to make a save all afternoon.

Bizarrely, there was a reluctance to cross or get at the full backs from us in the second half. We had enough pace but not the confidence to do so, which was unusual, although Mansfield's wingers pretty much played as second full backs.

First home defeat in 364 days and the first time I've been overly disappointed with our performance for a long time so can't be too downhearted. Still been a good week with 6 from 9.

I hope none of the 1FF lot were in that teenage moshpit area in the away end.

We were shocking but defended excellently in the second half. Danny Rose changed the game as we knew he would.

Lincolns support was fantastic whereas we were shocking.

FWIW, my match thoughts this, we were in control in the first half without really getting that many chances. Mansfield offered very little. Second half was far more even in terms of possession and a draw would have been a fair result. Mansfield defended well with both black lads catching the eye for me. After they took a well taken goal, they then sat back for most of the second half. We just didn't have enough about us to break them down. Thought Angol and Hemings were poor, Rose made a big difference when he came on.

Gutted to lose our unbeaten home run a few days short of a year, but can accept it if we can go another year without losing. Out of the big money sides witnessed so far after now seeing Mansfield and Luton, Luton are considerably ahead of Mansfield IMO so we shall see where they both finish along with us come the end of the season.

On to County next week, not going to be easy there either.

I think today we more than rode our luck, but it was more than deserved after the harsh loss at Accrington and the draw with Luton. We did what we needed to but without ever performing or getting out of 2nd gear - it's one of those games where in a parallel universe we'd have lost 1-0 and no-one would have battered an eyelid.

Today was all about danny Rose. Green, rhead and Palmer again proved why they aren't league standard players though in fairness they tried hard, Angol had a nightmare and hemmings was well, I don't know what his purpose was. Danny came on and ruffed up the defenders who'd had an easy ride until then and put himself about, he won the header from whites cross that neither hemmings or Angol would have got close to, despite being so much shorter.

Lincoln were solid and alright, a good setup and will do well at home, at a push they may make the playoffs.

Lincoln on top in the first half but never threatened the goal. Neither did we and then we get a lucky goal and take the points.

Lincoln will be a tough fixture for any side who aren't 100 per cent up for it.

Should have been 0-0 really, Mansfield scored with their only chance. We were pretty poor, huffed and puffed but never really worried their back line who defended well.

Think both sides will finish in the play offs.

Great atmosphere in the home end again. Mansfield fans very quiet was like a morgue over there. I remember the days when they supported their club.

It's almost like a new club lol. The New Lincoln City FC formed 2016

I certainly remember the old Lincoln City , so when I visit Sincil Bank it's certainly going to be a shock for Notts fans and a new experience. Should be good

Fair comments Stoney. Surprised how quiet you were. Luton were a lot louder and backed their side a lot. Disappointing for a Derby game but luckily we've got County, Cods and Spirites coming up to make up for it.

You have everything else but I don't know if you have the firepower. I loved Green but saw a little bit today what others were describing. I didn't really feel in danger at any point.

If we make it I hope we put in some much better performances on the way there.

Green and Rhead looked like a conference duo and performed like it. Surprised Rhead is leading your line every week. He become a one trick pony with us and couldn't do his one trick most of the time. Green is exactly the same as last year, more time spent being a target man or playing out wide.

Digby in the middle won everything and limited Lincoln, who were obviously better in the first half. Mirfin and Pearce were solid throughout and our defence will earn us a lot of points like they did last season.

Early days for our new look side and were not loosing, and winning a few so the future looks good. One bit of quality in 90 minutes won it for us, good away performance.
