I assume you’ve appealed and won it considering it wasn’t a red card?
Don’t be thick. You can look that up yourself, and I’m sure you’re aware of the threshold and implications of the appeal process.

When a player rolls around that much you know he isn`t hurt, shocking tackle mind but not as bad as the Crewe lads on Saturday IMO.
Crikey mate that is harsh. It was an awful tackle and he clearly was hurt as he was subbed straight away.

Why would I look it up. I couldn't give a shit about Crewe or your players appeal.

Seeing a few parallels between the Stags situation and our own; Among the pre-season favourites after making some (on paper) decent summer signings, losing PO semi-finalists the year before, injuries to key strikers, previously reliable players suddenly losing form/confidence, off-field issues... I'm sure you will be okay though, the fact only one is likely to drop thanks to Bury's expulsion makes a repeat far less likely for starters!

At last, we get our revenge for that 5-1 drubbing at ours back in 2012. If last night's 4-0 win was harsh, then so was that 5-1.

Revenge is a dish best served cold and all that jazz......:ds:

It was a bad tackle and deserved a red, but you don`t roll that much if you are badly hurt. Could have been taken off as a tactical switch, if he is hurt then he won`t play for a few weeks, lets see.

He was down for four minutes then subbed for a weaker left winger. Give him a break ffs.

Yet almost went off on a stretcher, with forty plus minutes to play. That's dedication to feigning injury. Anyway....

To be fair to Crewe types, I can understand them being annoyed about the penalty as it probably wasn't a pen, but in what world can anyone be upset about the red they got?!

Anyway that one last night was brutal. You can tell from how the Mansfield players reacted, and that game turned completely on its head from that point. Mansfield should have been 2/3 up at half time, but if you don't hit the target, what can you do?

As for us, wtf is four away wins by now all about? Especially considering they were all away at fairly fancied teams. If we could stop shitting the bed at the Abbey we may even get a mid table finish this season!

Difference between the 2 reds for me, Crewe was one footed and on the ground, Mansfield 2 feet and well off the ground. Green’s is 50/50 red for me, can’t complain to much about it it’s just the rest of the game that made the frustration mount up. I should really move on from it now anyway :bg::bg:

I saw a picture on the internet of him hobbling off on crutches after the game, his foot looked very bruised. I still think he was very lucky.

Awful tackle, could of broken his leg with that! Hanno is lucky if it’s a not a serious injury from that.

What is their guy thinking there going in like that!

I hope that we’ve fined Preston the maximum amount that is possible. He’s a dick, can’t imagine the Mansfield fans warming to him again. I don’t expect a goal at port vale, maybe we could somehow hold them to a 0-0

Port vale is a white flag, it’s game over, May as well not bother - it’s a case of who the manager is after that game.

Wasn't puling out of that, was he?!

The closest Mansfield player knew what was coming, as did Bishop.

More than feasible that could happen, we rarely score more than one goal in a game. Have to see what sort of team Vale can name first. On paper you’d think it’d be a home win but still a lot of quality in your squad and surely a matter of time before it clicks.

I just can't fathom what was going through his mind. It was 49 minutes into the game and it was 0-0, not that any other set of circumstances would justify a tackle like that. He didn't even need to pick up a booking. As soon as he realised he'd overrun it he should've just got back into position. If he had to contest it, just bring Hannant down in a block tackle and take the booking. It was incredibly stupid.

Oh yeah, despite them both being reds one was more innocent than the other. I know there's no. Such thing as an honest red but it's more in that category for the Crewe one. Last night's should have ended up before a magistrate.

Out of interest , Hannant didn't play against Swindon. Feigning my arse.
