Slaphead... any truth in the rumour that you're chucking us lot in the seated area on Saturday? (I hate sitting at football!)

I wouldn't have thought so, we usually only do that if the away following is expected to be 100-120 or so. They should open the East Bank terrace for you, I would expect you would bring 250-300, maybe more?

Shotsfan1993 will probably confirm more, he works the away turnstiles, I only dig the pitch up.

I would expect as you will be going up the top of Redan Hill and will bring at least 200ish we will give you the uncovered terrace on the corner and the seats. That said if the weather isnt good sometimes we open the East Bank instead of the uncovered terrace, although I wont know that until I get to the ground on Saturday.

Doubt the uncovered terrace will be open, it's getting a bit shabby, that's why the East Bank was opened for the Trannies. We've been trying to fix it up and I'm not sure it's been done yet.

Aldershot must the most awkward away end to get to. Up that bloody hill, through the park and then down those steps. When we went back when Aldershot were in the league in the late 80's we went in through the same turnstile as the home fans and walked around the ground in front of the stand to get to the away end.

Yes that was the way i was done, before 'elfin safety and plod stuck their sticky beaks in. We do that now for some games when the away turnout will be low, but unfortunately our SAG insist on segregation when the big boys come to town.

Thanks for the replies gents.... yep, because of our predicament and our run of form we should muster around 200-250 for tomorrow's game so hopefully the terrace will be open for us. .... Good news for the Shots though, our first team keeper is out injured for 3 weeks and our new lad Blissett looks unlikely to play tomorrow...

The good news for Torquay though is our keeper is fit after the sore back he acquired at Chester. Fill yer boots.

Gateshead (H) Win 3-1 - a game that could see us get a bit of breathing space
Guiseley (A) Win 1-0
Dover (A) Draw 0-0 - Game at PP was bizarre, our away form has been good
FGR (H) Win 3-0 - I feel they're the perfect team for our style
Lincoln (H) Draw 2-2 - our new bogey team, hopefully only for this season
Kidderminster (A) Win 1-0
Seems I've called the score in 2 of 3..

Not going brilliantly so far but was always going to be tough against those three, regardless of the recent injuries we've suffered. Looking forward to having a two week break now before Kidderminster and Welling over Easter - two sides we might actually have a chance of getting some points from. Gives us a chance for Bruno Andrade and Chris Arthur, who both played 60 minutes against Cheltenham, and Brian Saah to get fit again. Kieran Murtagh will also be back from suspension for Kidderminster. Time to properly integrate some of the youth loans we've got too.

Still amazing how well we've done this season. You only have to look at the struggling ex-League sides of Kidderminster and Torquay to put things into perspective. They'd snap our arm off to be in our position and that shouldn't be interpreted as a dig, they would. I'm grateful and stunned that we aren't mixing it with them after all the 'luck' we've had.

Big chance to get some much needed points on the baord with those three home games.
3/3 so far, better snap out of that ridiculous habit before next week.

This could be the month that makes or breaks our campaign, and there are some massive fixtures in there with no easy games. Even Kiddy are doing alright at the moment. Gateshead, Dover and Lincoln are all right on our tails... and Gateshead and Dover have games in hand. Very tough to call, let's go for...

Gateshead (H) WIN
Guiseley (A) DRAW
Dover (A) LOSE (DRAW)
FGR (H) DRAW
Lincoln (H) WIN
Kidderminster (A) WIN

2 out of 3, and I'm not complaining. I hope we better my FGR prediction, just as we bettered my Dover one!

I always drive up that hill and park in that road at the top to the right.

Time for an update

Lincoln (A) - Draw - Lost
Chester (A) - Win - spectacularly fucked that one up.
Torquay (H) - Win - 0-0 against the 3rd worst team in the division. Feels like a defeat.
Altrincham (A) - Win - fuck me, another pasting. Going well this month.
FGR (A) - Lose
Braintree (H) - Lose

Now can't see us getting anything from the last two so that will make 1/18 with some disgraceful performances. So much for the joys of Spring.

Going according to plan so far. I'd be a bit dissapointed if (when?) we lose to Grimsby. I'm strangely confident about the Cheltenham game though, and hopefully we can get something from Guiseley when we play them. Going for a minimum of 2ppg at the moment.

Fairly tough month, can see the unbeaten run ending tomorrow and Braintree and Wrexham away in particular will be tricky, but hopeful of winning at least one of those.

Predicted 13/15, got a measly 7. Our away form has gone well and truly down the shitter with 1 point from our last 4.

Awful. One point from the division's two bottom clubs.

Bring on April.

Despite only managing three draws from that lot, we are somehow still in the same league position that we ended February, 18th

Lincoln (A) - LOSE (I have a +1 with me this weekend which means we'll lose, sorry). LOST
Chester (A) - WIN BATTERED
Torquay (H) - WIN DREW
Altrincham (A) - WIN THRASHED
FGR (A) - LOSE DREW
Braintree (H) - DRAW WON

10/18 wouldnt be a bad month and would keep us in with a shout of a top half finish.

5/18 - Poor month saved by a good Easter weekend, but our top half chances have probably gone.

Need to win the majority of these games if we are going to get back into play-off contention. It is most likely now that we will finish in mid table, although a win at Alty would make up for that!

Torquay H - Draw LOST
Altrincham A - Draw DREW
Lincoln H - Draw DREW
Boreham Wood A - Win DREW
Gateshead A - Lose WON
Grimsby H - Lose WON

The only game I am not going to this month is Boreham Wood away so of course we will only win that one!
9/18 points - not too bad considering that we didn't win until six days before the end of the month. Plus three points more than I predicted so can't complain.
