We are playing horrifically bad today.

Sam Russell doing what he used to do for Darlo and frustrating us with a couple of great saves, by the sounds of it.

Missed opportunity today to make sure the top 4 were pretty much guaranteed the play-offs. Still am sure the Hurst Out brigade will be happy that the second best defence in the league made two defensive mistakes to lose it. Won't be the players fault after all.

Bring on Bristol.

All over at macc, not great from us but nice to get all 3 points still, especially with Grimsby dropping points.

Very happy with that, helped a bit by Grimsby but a great result.

If it wasn't for our 3 point deduction a play-off would be looking well in our hands, but still work to do as it is.

5 wins on the bounce now. We could set a new winning run record if we can beat Alfreton on Tuesday.

We made that harder for ourselves than it ought to have been.
I'm looking forward to seeing that penalty incident again.

Nah can't fault Hursty for that one, he played the right team and probably made the right subs. Two defensive errors is majorly uncharacteristic for us. Very poor result though, pulls FGR into the mix and we're almost certainly out of the title race now.

Best keeper in the division. His consistency is tremendous, and he hasn't missed a game for us since signing in January 2012!

Woah woah woah, have you not heard of a certain James McKeown?

Nah it's okay, time for him to step aside and let somebody else have the plaudits.

We got very lucky there. A better team than Welling would have seriously punished us for a performance like that.

He used to do it for Darlington as well every time we played them, we used to batter them and still lose.
I remember one game he had saved everything and so we were losing then we got a late penalty which we scored but had to be re-taken, and so you've guessed it, he saved the fucker!!
I think I will have nightmares about him tonight!! :)

Honestly Welling are poor. Play at 50%-60% and you will scrape a win. Which is all you need. Not about the performance.

Not sure we even got to 20%. MBH got us out of jail with 2 great finishes today. If we play anything like that on Tuesday then Alty will have their hat trick of wins this season. We were awful.

Pleasing thing is to win when playing badly.. Need to be 100% better on Tuesday night.. Just churn out those 'W's' is all that matters at this stage of the season.

Ha ha ha ha !!!!!
What's the matter, didn't you get any dodgy decisions today?

We should've scored 2-3 in the second half. Well taken Woking goal and you could see the players get nervous and give away cheap possession, nearly messed things up with 10min to go. Fair play to Woking for keeping going.

Wasn't a classic game today, Lincoln were poor and only fashioned a couple of half chances. We really should have had more goals in the first half, but I was a tad disappointed we didn't step it up a gear after half time, a la Macclesfield at home.

Good win though, points needed and hopefully some consistent football will allow us to push on a bit. Grimsby will be tough though.

Gutted that what had been a well contested game was ruined by a refereeing decision.

First 20 minutes we looked the more likely side and I wasn't impressed with Barnet. Then McNerney took out Akinde, he got some of the ball but came slightly from behind first. However, the referee then sent him off. A penalty, yes but certainly not a red.

Five minutes into the second half Joey Jones kicked it into our goal. He tried to pass it to Cole but didn't look and it went in. Exactly what you see in one of those blooper DVDs.

For a side top of the league and with 11 players on the pitch Barnet really weren't very good at all. Didn't have the same flow going forward as to what I witnessed at Kingfield earlier in the season. They were highly fortunate today, I suppose that's what you get more of when things are going well for you.

535 Woking fans there today. I seem to remember saying on TFF that I was surprised Barnet only brought 300 odd to ours considering their league position. One of their fans said we wouldn't bring many more. :bye: They also called in about 30 riot police with 20 minutes to go too for some reason.

The panic Barnet went through at 2-1 with ten minutes left was quite hilarious. There would have been some serious #scenes had an equaliser gone in, maybe that's what the riot police were for. Proud of how hard we worked with ten men and that we gave it a really good go.
