Today we played like champions

The best performance for me this season

With Bristol having a free hit today I really thought we were going to be in for a tough game.

Halifax were killed off by half time and it could of been double figures. I would be seriously pissed off if I travelled all that way for a performance like that.

The signings of Clifford and Gash have really made a difference, for the ignorant out in there we really are not the one man team some people think we are with Akinde. The fax fans who will went today will acknowledge that it was a good team performance by us with high energy and precision.

2 massive games left and fair play to bristol for staying the pace lets hope we will can finish the job and the entertainers of the league get the reward they deserve.

At least Chester won today and wrote off Dovers chance of the play offs.

Come on Dover, play nice and roll over next week please?

You won't deserve anything if you don't win it!

Didn't have to get going today to get the 3 points, which is pleasing, and we have no fresh injuries heading to Dover next weekend.

I am a little disappointed tonight though because of Barnet's comprehensive victory. I thought Halifax would be a lot tougher to break down and may be able to claim a point, but clearly not!

Barnet should comfortably beat Kiddy next week while our game will be very tricky, although at least Dover are out of play-off contention now. I will be keeping my fingers crossed all week in hope of there being a shock result at Aggborough, but I won't be putting any money on it!

By the way, John Brooks, today's ref, was absolutely woeful. I was expecting him to be a competent official given his experience as a Premier League linesman, but it's safe to say he wasn't. The number of decisions he got wrong was staggering.

Well that was so predictably Lincoln. Can't say I didn't tell you all so.

Straight shift in momentum for next week - Barnet this time have what should be another three points, the 50,000 have a bit of an awkward one.

He was dreadful. Really dreadful. Bissett had been on the pitch literally 5 seconds max and the Southport player dived forward to head the ball, he must have been about 3 feet from the floor, blisset gets the ball and knocks it for a throw in and gets booked for high foot! Unreal!

I think to top it off though, the Southport defender slips and let's Taylor through one on one, pulls him back and barges him away from the ball, without even touching it, and no free kick, no red. Nothing. There were countless mistakes. Having said that, Harrison was lucky to stay on the pitch

Only us can lose to a team who haven't won at home for 5 months, bloody useless!!
But hey the chairman says the manager ( fellow board member) has proved himself to be an effective manager so what do I know!
God help us:sur:

Our worst performance of the season according to those that went, on our forum.

Apparently Barnet were good but nothing special, never sure how much of that is sour grapes from a drubbing mind.

Stop being so precious.
Stop being embarrassingly tiresome, then. We all shot you down last weekend when you tried the same thing. Surprisingly you had no response then and I suspect you won't now, either.

Good performance yesterday and a decent goal from Joe Clarke, Think we probably put any chance of Grimsby winning the title to bed

Good 3 points Alfreton were poor. Even giving us a extra 30 mins drinking in the Grantham. Befor the game.
Great laugh with the Alfreton fans 1st half in the shed.
4 of them ended out on the piss with us after the game. Which carry'd on till mid night.
Next up Halifax away

Plus, it would kill us to see a Tin Pot club like yours buy it's way into the play offs. I'm now rooting for all I'm worth for the only 2 real football clubs left in the chase, to be promoted. Come on the Fishies and the Pirates!!!! :bdick:
