Looked a lot more fluent once Ferguson came on. Thought Morison and Gregory worked exceptionally hard, but Gregory had one of those games again where he completely loses his composure.
The hoofing still annoys me but I think now I need to shut up. Two "Premier League" sides beaten and into the hat for the fifth round. Nice one.

Swindon, I mean this with due respect as I don't want it to seem a rival post, I really think you're down unless Williams goes. Today we just pressed every time the keeper had the ball and you fell to shreds, it was like the forced playing out of the back that embraces mistakes. Would be fine if the manager had installed a plan b but there was no such thing.

I think most Town fans expected a defeat, we are truly awful and at half time during this game we had gone 3 halves of play without a single shot on target (we had none against Peterborough either).

What is really getting to most Town fans is the apparent lack of effort, the players really don't appear to give a shit. I guess that's because most of them will be back to their own clubs or are out of contract & will probably be somewhere else next season.

We are almost certainly going to get thumped next week by our friends from up the A420, as they will surely show all the desire & passion that is missing from our bunch.

My biggest fear is that we won't be able to outspend Div 4 to get back up like we did last time and are more likely to drop the other way

No heart, no midfield, bizarre tactics and players arguing with each other. After the first goal the players heads dropped. I left just as the third went in. We're a shambles and I wish McCann would just fuck off. Can't wait for a tonking at Port Vale next Saturday.

It wont be a case of not being able to - it's that Power would rather he got it than the team.

We've been, and continue to be, fucked over by him - that's becoming clearer by the day.

Swindon's No. 21 ( full back ) was very good yesterday. And your No.33 was the exact opposite -- bloody awful. I reckon if the game went on to next Saturday your lot would still not have scored.

I think that's Dabo (on loan from Chelsea) and Norris (cart horse striker we bought from Gillingham)

Glad to hear he's doing well!

I really really want him to come good. He works hard and seems like he cares but he's just not very good and in a team of people who aren't very good, stands out as we barely create anything and he's the one that generally gets the chance and fucks it up.

His debut in the league cup at QPR he had about 10 chances and fluffed then all!

Yeah I spent ages wanting him to do well too. Trouble is he just has a miserable persona and comes across lazy. If you aren't scoring goals as a striker then you have to at least look like you're trying, Norris never did!

I thought Norris was alright, your other striker was completely ineffectual though, got bullied and he's about 3 foot tall.

Dabo and Foderingham looked decent, Gladwin was fucking awful. Can see why he only played once for us now, he's the least agile footballer I've ever watched play. Got a lot of stick from your fans as well.

We are in a relegation battle and desperately need players with mental strength and desire and so we bring in Dabo (who looks good to be fair), Colkett, Gladwin and Feruz who couldn't be any worse in a relegation fight. Colkett and Gladwin are luxury players in a well oiled machine and fuck knows how long Feruz is going to be a footballer, he is too weak imo.

I'm fairly confident we will go down unless we bring in some players who are willing to knuckle down and fight. This current bunch couldn't fight sleep.

Colkett is unbelievably talented though mate, him and Brophy were the only ones trying to create for you yesterday. You need to accommodate that luxury as he could be that little bit of quality for you going forwards that other teams down the bottom don't have.

Hopefully fella. Things are dire at the moment though, I do share Indian Dan's fear that the only way for us is down at the moment. The place is like a morgue at the moment, people are totally bored with STFC at the moment, there is less buzz about the place than a wasp mortuary, sad times.

Based upon Coventrys performance on Saturday I dont see any hope for them staying up. Granted they were down to 10 men with what I thought was a harsh decision but they just lacked any quality at all. Also with such a disconnect with the fans at the moment I just dont see them turning it around. I know a lot of Cov fans will say that this is the only way to get at SISU but a lot of our fans lost a lot of sympathy towards them for the way they behaved on Saturday.

We have a decent run of games now, hoping that the win has given us the confidence boost we so desperately needed. Still not convinced by our midfield diamond.

JED loves a midfield diamond!

What are his other go to formations? I dont think we have the players to fit that formation to be honest, well Matt Taylor is certainly not a holding midfielder but hopefully we can make it work.

When he first arrived we'd had a successful bit of time with a 3-5-2 with wing backs and he stuck with that for a while. Then most of last season was the diamond (mostly to accommodate Dack) before a brief dip back into 3-5-2 in March/April. This season was the diamond again before he gave 4-3-3 a go, but that didn't really work THAT well either.

I'm sure you will be welcomed by both sets of fans should you make yourselves known. I'll make a point of coming down to the away section to hello if you like?

it it true you've only sold 400 for Burnley?
Cheers for Matty Taylor, UTG :bdick:

Thankful for all his goals, practically got us promoted twice himself . But as far as I'm concerned, he can go and fuck himself now. Worst thing you can do as a player.
