Does MBH ever stop scoring? The fucker seems to score every single week.

Been back to his old self since he came back her and get himself back into a good condition again. His hold up and pressing play is superb.

Decent pub a couple of minute walk from the ground.
Good job! I'm getting a train to the town center which is apparently a 20 minute walk from the ground so ill be ready for a pint when i get there!

I said I really rated him on another thread - was very surprised that one of you said he had been kept out of the team by a loanee.

I'm very worried about you lot now, your home fixtures are very easy and playing the way you are you can win most of those away games. I was also really impressed with you at our place the other week, we seriously had to turn it on 2nd half to turn it around.

We will lose at least 2 more games (I actually think around 4 games) and you are on fire

Aaaaaaannnnddd breath!!

First half we pressed and pressed and won all the loose balls then got it down and played some great football, the build up to MBH's goal was excellent, with a great header to finish it off. Rest of the half we bossed it but without creating too much clear cut. 2nd half we came out a little slow but 5 mins in got the ball moving again and cut Alty open with ease for Moke to smash home.

Then we stopped. They through on this very large looking fella up front and it became clear they had one intention, lump it at him at every opportunity, which we just couldn't defend against. Well we'd defend the first ball OK, but then for some reason have nobody picking up the loose ones and kept ending up just scrambling it clear to another red shirt. In it came again and again and again. We were always going to cave and one ball bouncing around the box was nodded in by the large bloke. Thought it might have woken us up again, but nah we just sat deeper and deeper inviting more balls into the box, and giving away loads of free kicks 40 odd yards from goal. One of this was nodded in again but the flag went up straight away, no idea if it was correct, was other end of the ground, but for my sanity i'll just say it was a great decision.

It was calling out for us to be able to bring another centre half on to help with the aerial bombardment, but we ain't got one!!

Ah well, a win is a win is a win, 3 more points, back up to 2nd, chasing Barnet down with a few favourable games coming up in the next few weeks. The Macc Machine 2015 keeps on going!

Tough away games still to play at Eastleigh, Gateshead (we don't win here) Halifax, FGR and finishing the final day away at Torquay. Techincally this Saturday is the only away game we should be feeling confidentish about. Still a long way to go here.

Yes! Get IN

Fully deserved a share of the spoils this evening. Everyone in a Red shirt played their part. Their were no weak links.

FGR didnt impress me at all for the Second time this season. We restricted them to one Jon Parkin effort First half while creating nothing ourselves. Second half was very different. Their first from Marwood was controversial as there looked to be a handball in the buildup. Taking my bias hat off I think it would have been harsh. Thankfully and I think crucially we levelled almost straight away. Great finish from the impressive Johnston and the first of many for him I think.

Then the real controversial moment where Refree Mr Ryan Johnson didnt cover himself in any glory at all. We force a corner and take it short to Johnston who crosses it in to the near post and the Goalkeeper Russell collects it no problems and looks to distribute it quickly but then under no pressure in inexplicably drops its and we score under NO pressure whatsoever The referee then to everyones amazement instead of giving the goal points for a FK! Shocking decision. Will be interesting to see it on the highlights thats for sure.

We left Parkin free from a FK 5 minutes from time but too our credit never gave up and grabbed a deserved point when the most unlikeliest of scorers Rowe-Turner popped up to head home a late corner!

I was impressed with him when you played Woking, he stuck out like a sore thumb. I was talking to Crewe's chief scout at our game on Saturday and he said he couldn't believe a league club hadn't come in for him and the Alfreton were the only ones prepared to take a chance. Looks a very good signing.

Alfreton getting a late point was ideal but it could have been worse. Our game with Welling on Saturday is vital for us to win. Both sides have lost 5 in a row so something has to give. I can see whoever loses it being in the relegation zone on Saturday night!

A couple of fortunate wins for us this week.. But maximum points is the only relevant thing.. Last night was always going to be one of the tougher games as Alty are no mugs.

Great win for Macclesfield and for the first time this season, one of the chasing pack seem to be stringing the wins together and applying pressure. And with a decent opportunity to pick up another win on Saturday at struggling Southport, Macclesfield could be right on our tails.

Last nights results make the outcome of the Grimsby v Bristol Rovers game even more crucial to both clubs involved. A draw would be a pretty disastrous outcome for both , especially if either Macc or Barnet were to pick up a win.

It's certainly building up to be an exciting end of season.

It would be nothing short of a fairytale for #TheMaccMachine. You can keep your Cinderellas, Pinocchios and Mulans - Disney will be snapping up Fairhurst, Moke and Turnbull soon.

Good job I was listening to that on the toilet cause I just shit myself! Taylor keep us in it at the death! Never thought I would say I was looking forward to going to Southport
You'll beat Southport, because they're in freefall. They've lost all their matches (4) since Carden replaced Brabin.

this run of games was always out opportunity, apart from travelling to Eastleigh our games are very winnable and if we are to put pressure on Barnet now is the time.

We have been smashed by southport in the last two visits, got to keep focussed and grind out another win.

Yes he was the only one in a Alfreton shirt that day that turned up. He is a good young player who can deliver a mean final ball. Good to see he has finally started added goals to his game. Hopefully now he can kick on. One critism of him which was apparent first half v Southport was he can be one dimensional with no plan b. After 20 minutes on Saturday the Southport defender had him figured him out.

Nerves have just about recovered...first 45 mins we played Alty off the park but then tried our best to throw it away in the second half, be interesting to see their disallowed goal again. Hoping Turnbull recovers soon but glad we actually have something approaching squad depth in midfield now.

All the form tables/stats point towards a win at Southport on Saturday but we're always dogshite there...

Well, pies were available and the water was hot enough, but we wuz robbed. Distinctly second best first half, but after we went 2 down and reverted to hoofball, we were all over them. Macc's players were visbly shitting themselves under our aerial bombardment. Don't know why our 2nd was disallowed.

Now i'm no Inspector Morse but my guess, along with knowledge of the laws of association football, bring me to the conclusion, mainly due the the assistant referee lifting his flag in such a way, that it was for offside. Case closed.

I can also tell you that pies were available due to your shocking away following.

I guess you could still win the playoffs, but don't you think that's a little ambitious for this year?

Macclesfield moaning about other people's away followings?

Impressively hypocritical, top effort.

Altrincham clearly just don't care about Macclesfield at all. Fair enough.
