Similar problems and complaints last season at Stevenage, do any other clubs have these issues with Stevenage, particularly the stewards stood up in front of you but insist you sit down so you can't see?

At least it's being taken more seriously this season by our trust, probably won't change anything though.

Much better performance after last weeks aberration at Barnet. Colchester were very limited and seemed intent on slowing the game down at every opportunity.

Frustrating first half for the most part. The play was there but often picked the wrong option or pass right at the end, not quite clicking. That said Walker made two great saves from Lee and Hylton. Potts definitely dived and deserved his booking, no need for it. Glad we got the goal just before half time. Sort of a poetic justice that we scored in the time added as a result of Walkers time wasting.

Second half we were the only side in it. Suspected it might be a frustrating afternoon when Hylton and Sheehan hit the bar and Walker pulled of a worldie to deny McCormack. Great relief when the second went in, quality strike from Collins. The lad can finish. Not having it that Stech's save wasn't anything special, it was bloody brilliant. The guy is also clearly mental which is lovely. Third goal put some much deserved polish on the result.

Good to see Hylton back. Bit rusty and things weren't clicking as they usually do for him, but he showed why he is so important for us

One slight worry was the performance of Glen Rea who appears to have been taken up Jonathan Smiths mantle of having awful distribution. If we go up it may well be in spite of our Centre Backs who sadly I'm starting to think are fairly ordinary. Saying that, Sheehan was really good yesterday.

Also I think we will miss Vassells pace. There isn't an awful lot up there now and it's a bit of a glaring omission. Cornick may well bring it in time but it's early days. Although those who thought Collins and Hylton couldn't play together should have had their fears allayed, they linked up really well.

Special mention for Jack Stacy who was excellent getting up and down the right. Has a great cross on him also. It's like he's everything we thought we were getting in Stephen O'Donnell. Would be hard to justify putting Justin straight back in. Perhaps he could come in at left back, although it would be harsh on Potts and Senior. Also, the renaissance of Olly Lee is amazing, and particularly pleasing is the silence of the prick two rows back from me who spent all last year abusing him.

Two tough away games now. If we are serious about going up we need to be getting through Mansfield and Lincoln without losing, although I suspect we may lose one.

All told, thoroughly enjoyable day.
