Boro battered us at their place, but they look a different, beatable team right now.

Potts and Browne are out though, as well as Holmes and Best. It means McCann will probably be shunted out to RWB and Ryan Ledson will start in midfield. Alternatively, Millar might be played on his wrong side, with Brady on the left. We're weaker either way.

Not signing a replacement RWB after sending back Calvin Ramsay was pure negligence.

Woodman
Storey, Lindsay, Hughes
Millar, McCann, Whiteman, Brady
Frokjaer
Riis, Keane

All that effort to get back into the game wasted in a flash from us.

Great strike from Yaser but poor defending. What a shame.

Very avoidable goals too.

No idea how we're winning. We've offered nothing, not a single passage of play, barely completed a pass.

Millar scored from absolutely nothing. Our only shot.

Luckily, Boro look absolutely shit up front, and we haven't had too much to worry about.

We defended and scrapped well but were second best in pretty much every department.

Will take that win all day long, but Boro must be baffled how they've lost that.

Plastic Rovers at home on Saturday. You'd expect a comfortable win on paper but the Championship doesn't work like that. A win here would make it 4 in a row, 16pts from the last 21.

Injuries mounting for us. Potts, Holmes, and Best definitely out, Lindsay and Hughes big doubts. A few others looked leggy too and may need a rest, Whiteman maybe.

Possible team:

Woodman
Storey, Whatmough, Cunningham
Millar, Browne, Whiteman, Brady
Frokjaer
Keane, Riis

A win and clean sheet but a fortunate one maybe.

Relying on individuals at the moment.

Not consistent as a team or team selection .

Weird one. Should feel happy that we came back from 2 down, but it's 2 points dropped at home. We just didn't create enough in the second half and Liam Millar is wasted on the right.

Still, 10pts from our last 4 games, and the only one we've lost in our last 7 was away at Leeds due to an injury time penalty.

Brady's strike was a beauty.

Coventry away tomorrow night. Moved very late for their FA cup game on TV, fucking over plenty of fans who had already bought train tickets.

Our record against Coventry is pretty insane though. 12 wins, 8 draws, and 0 defeats since 2007. Apart from one defeat in that shitty lower league cup. That's 1 defeat in 27 league games.

Guaranteed to get smashed 4-0 now.

Same team hopefully, Millar back on the left, Brady on the right. We miss Brad Potts.

What a half. Destroyed them. Riis has been insanely good. Hopefully no second half drama.

That was weirdly easy. Didn't break a sweat second half.

Twists & turns, who'd have thought it after the season we've been had so far, eh?!

Pressure back on us tomorrow, home to Brum who have won their last two. We play close to our level, we win.

Very tight at the bottom. We’ve given ourselves a chance but I genuinely can’t call it. It’s a shame we gave everyone else a 12 game head start!

Massive game against Hull, deserves that 6-pointer cliche. They're very good away from home but I'm pretty confident at the minute. A draw wouldn't be a bad result.

Same team. Browne at RWB and McCann in the middle worked well against Coventry, and means Millar can play in his proper position.

That second half was a really good watch, and I think we edged it.

McCann my man of the match, but I also thought Whiteman was very good, and maybe the first and last time i'll ever say this, but Storey was excellent.

We look so much fitter than we did before Christmas. Our high press has been so good lately.

Decent point in the grand scheme of things, but a shame Norwich won.

Southampton away tomorrow, bit of a travesty that we didn't beat them at Deepdale. We played really well. They equalised with a 95th minute own goal, flicked on by their keeper from a corner. Gutting.

I'm fairly confident going down there but their team is full of Prem quality, so can't be downbeat if we lose.

I'd say the team at Hull is our strongest 11. Browne is good at RWB and a midfield of McCann, Whiteman, and Frojkaer is the perfect blend.

I'd maybe bring in Osmajic from the start and give Riis a game off. Don't want to run him into the ground after a year out injured.

Only missing Brad Potts & Ched Evans at the minute, hopefully both are back soon. Ched is finished as a starter but he can still cause problems off the bench.

Woodman
Storey, Lindsay, Hughes
Browne, McCann, Whiteman, Millar
Frokjaer
Osmajic, Keane

Game called off because of a big fuck off fire.

Stoke at home on Saturday. Need to be beating them. Hull play Leicester so we can close the gap. Norwich get a free win against Rotherham though, who should never be allowed to play at this level again.

That was shit. Stoke deserved to win.

Schumacher got it right tactically and showed up his mate a bit.

They'll stay up.

Looks like we'll have to beat Norwich at home and get something away at Southampton to stay in with a chance of 6th. Can't see it myself.

Take the 1-0 scrappy win as we needed to get 3 points.

Didn’t sound too great though and Bachmann had one of his good days.

Might be the last 3 points we get for a while - or even a point.

It's a given that we won't beat Rotherham at home. One of the worst teams to have ever played at this level who the other teams around us pumped 5-0 with ease.

Browne and Riis should be back for this. Osmajic back in training so possibly on the bench. Whiteman & Potts out. Ledson did well at Plymouth, but still... get on the bench.

If Rotherham try to match up our back three then we should sub off a centre back as soon as possible. We should have done it at their place when we dropped 2pts.

We haven't had 3 centre halves all fit together since before we last played you.
We've been lucky to have one at times and Odaffin has played more games as a centre back than in his own position but he is supposedly out now.

We do have 2 fit CHs now (Morrison & Humphries) and Blackett might even be on the bench tomorrow (he got carried off the last time we played you and hasn't played since).

It's been a dreadful season and I have never known so many players go out with long term injuries but we have to plod on and try to get past our previous worst total of 23 points.

I usually go to Preston away but it just seems like a waste of time and money so I applaud those that do travel tomorrow and hope the team can give them our first away win for about 18 months.

Did you know that the cost to park behind the Bill Shankley stand is £15, bloody hell do you get a free pint and a burger?

Fuck that. I think parking at Moor Park school or St Gregory's club is reasonable. But yeah, away games must be soul sapping this season when you consider the costs.

Ok. Maybe not a given.

Riis is a beast. He's come back even better after 12 months out.

Not much to say about that. Rotherham looked a beaten team from the start.

Not much to say about that. Rotherham looked a beaten team from the start.

The manager isn't even picking the 11 best players available now, he just keeps rotating the squad members that are still fit.
Some of the players clearly can't be bothered as most will be moved on at the end of the season and they don't want to be injured on their holidays.

Richardson really has his work cut out to turn things around over the summer.
Judging him on his current decisions so far, I'm not convinced he can TBH.

Still I suppose he needs to be given the chance to build his own team before
making too many harsh judgments.
Roll on August.

Birmingham away. We need to end the Rowett curse, we haven't beaten one of his teams in about a decade.

We played at about 40% in the second half against Rotherham so we should be pretty fresh. Obvously bring Millar back in for Brady if he's fit, but i'm not sure what his situation is.

Was impressed by Duane Holmes at RWB. Very positive. He's been a great little freebie.

A win would be pretty big as you would expect some dropped points around us. Norwich away at Leicester and Hull away at Leeds. Although Coventry not beating Cardiff at home would be a shock. You'd think Boro and below are completely out of it.

Well good to get goals again .

Shows we are attacking more positively .

Shame not to hold on - didn’t think we get a point beforehand but always disappointing to let a lead slip late on .

Deflection and a cracker of a strike.
