Actually most Chester fans agree he's a massive improvement on Jon Worsnop. He can actually catch a cross. I hope we never sign another player from Alfreton.

I guess he did okay with crosses and my opinion of him was probably formed by his abysmal kicking. The conditions can't excuse that.

You know, that 37 second clip is a microcosm of our entire season. Fluffed scoring opportunities and goals conceded from nowhere.
Are you Tranmere in disguise? ;) Anyway, I hope you can make a fight of staying up because despite my allegiances to Macc my family are Altrincham supporters so the derby games are always good occasions for us!

Nolan has been superb since he arrived, not at all what i was expecting, even in games where we have been poor Nolan has still stood out for me.

He was starting to find his feet at our place after a shakey start. Not sure why we passed on him really, decent player.

Judging by the Lincoln fans on here's opinions of him being an absolute cock i'm guessing it was more to do with his temeprament than his football ability.
Thankfully here he is a regular starter so we have yet to see that side of him.

The man is just a vile little cock, unfortunately. The only reason he came here initially was because his mates Newton and Rowe joined, also both from Stockport. Continually criticised our style of play, thinks he has the right to play like Iniesta/Xavi in the Conference and take ten seconds on the ball. Moaned publicly every time he wasn't selected, yet never did enough to grab games by the scruff of the neck, which he undoubtedly had the ability to do.

Basically he never really wanted to play for us. Stockport fans will say the same.

So far, I've seen a very different player. He's our most creative midfielder and when allowed time on the ball, can really find a pass. Best player on the pitch yesterday.

Probably one of them who suits playing for a proper club.

Thankfully we havn't seen that side to him yet, although Hurst has said with all our games in hand to play he may have to do a bit of rotating with the team so if ever he is gonna show that side of him, it will be then i guess.
Hopefully he might have matured a bit and learn to think before he speaks because if he pisses Hurst off he will be out of the squad, despite his obvious ability just like Scott Neilson last year.

To be fair I was the only Lincoln fan who said he'd do well at Grimsby. Just putting that out there.

Nolan starts well everywhere he's been anyway and he loves August to October and February to May. In between, he goes missing. I said our style of play didn't suit him and given that, it was a stupid decision to give him another contract in the summer.

He'll end up maturing but he didn't when he was here. Moaning on Twitter about not being in the team and tweeting, when he did, 'sore neck after today's session of hoof ball' or words to that effect aren't wise.

The daft bugger shouldn't have signed the deal if he hated being here so much!

Still seething from Saturday's game at Dover. No, not the result - that was inevitable, we had to end our unbeaten streak some time... No, I cannot believe that that c**t Stephan Payne was only shown a yellow card for his horrendous 'tackle' on Berry. Berry is now out for the season with a potential career-ending injury and we are left without any cover in his position.

And to any Dover fans reading this, no this is not 'sour grapes' because of the result .... ffs! we gifted you 3 of your goals and the second half was damage limitation.... but, to the fat ugly c**t in the blue coat who was stood in front of me when Payne thought it'd be fun to potentially end another player's career... it was not a 'fair tackle' you fucking imbecile - watch the replay you dick, and then tell me it was 'fair'.... and all the gloating in the world will not make you a bigger man even if you think your four mates with you were laughing with you.... they were just as fucking bad.
