I've got the go ahead to do monthly cooking tutorials in conjunction with the local food bank. They start in February and hopefully will run for at least four months. I'm looking forward to it.

These stories make me laugh. One month summat is good for you, the next month it's not. Wine is an example. I grew up having it drummed into me to eat as much fruit and veg as you can. Now it seems you can't cane fruit because of the naturally occuring sugars. It seems to me that the only things we're told we can safely consume without any adverse affects are water and vegetables. Mmmmmm my favourites.

I think the only thing that is consistently true is that nothing is bad if you eat it in moderation as part of a balanced diet. Mind, having said that I seldom have a madras from my takeaway these days, but eating one guarantees a fucking nightmare on the shitter the next morning.
