11th April 1951.. the last time we won away to Middlesbrough.

I think this will be a game will one we will drop points in before now and the season. Along with Cardiff it's one of two where I think we could lose. They're hitting form at the right time, and we tend to struggle against teams that set up like Pulis/Warnock styles. Post match Aston Villa fans might get a little giddy thinking they can close the 13 point gap.

As for team news, I think Jota is still injured (no update at least) so should be the same team as Burton.

Ruddy
Bennett - Coady - Boly
Doherty -------------- Douglas
Saiss - Neves
Costa - Afobe - Cav'
Middlesbrough 2-1 Wolves

Concerns for me is how poorly we dealt with Adamoh pace. So worried about Traore having a similar effect.

Might try and watch this then although the kickoff is right in the middle of the little ones bath/bed time.

Wolves make it look so simple.

Boro though -- any side with Adama Traore in their side should not be playing football with all the intensity of a slug.

Traore is some player, would love to have him at Wolves. Reminds me of when we had Sako in his prime.

Especially when he had started well but that purely seemed to be through his own determined nature rather than them getting him deliberately involved. If I managed him my plan would be for everyone trying to work him the ball at the earliest possibility.

Stuart Attwell you cheating c***. Absolute joke to give nothing for Costa going down and then Neves sent off.

Cheat.

Did you miss the blatant handball for your goal?

Both the red card and the last man challenge were correct calls. You've completely lost your discipline and have no one to blame but your own players.

Neves shouldn't have even got the yellow in the first place. Officiating in this country is absolutely pathetic. And to think this useless c*** Attwell is rated as one of the best? Fucking laughable.

Neves was booked for the challenge Doherty made ffs. Mistaken identity at it's finest.

Take it from a neutral who actually has something invested in Wolves winning this game -- the only poor call in this game has been the missed handball in the buildup for your first goal.

Are you for real, what about Costa being clipped when through on goal. Or Neves being sent off for 2 yellows, 1 for a challenge Doherty made?

No sympathy for the Neves stuff but Atwell got the last man decision wrong for me, it’s a foul whether it’s intentional or not.

Made a game out of it now though, was looking like routine stuff.

Jocks right though, Wolves have lost the plot.

We've lost the plot because of a pathetic refereeing decision when Costa was taken down outside the penalty area. The players are fuming about it and I don't blame them. Sooner or later the FA are going to have to take action of shite officiating in this country.

Watching on my phone at the time but didnt look like a touch on Costa. I didnt see the first as a handball but didnt see the replays at the half.

Robert Snodgrass made 4 challenges similar to that. I'd be more accepting of the refs decisions had he started like this when Boro were being very phyiscal early on.

Well you can’t end with 6, if 5 people get sent off it’s an automatic 3-0 loss.

Somehow that clown is rated as one of the best in the country. Not sure if he is corrupt or just purely shit.
Having seen the highlights, he got both red cards right. They only showed one replay of the Costa incident and it was impossible to tell whether he’d been clipped or not but why would he go down.

Both reds were correct for the challenges made, the issue was nobody seems to know why or when Neves got his first yellow. In real time it looked like Neves was booked for a tackle Doherty made.

As for the Costa incident, I took this from rewinding Sky. It's very slight but there is defintely contact
