After Saturday's lethargic performance against Macclesfield I am hoping to see a response tomorrow. Personally i'd like to see 4 changes - Saville for Evans (or Reynolds if he isn't fit), Straker for Arnold, Walker for 'Backpass' McClure and Allen for Mensah.

Heard that apparently Eastleigh have 4 coaches coming down tomorrow - any Eastleigh fans know if there is any truth in this?

What's with the Negative Nancies from Dagenham? You realise we've only won two home games all year (one with a last minute winner) and haven't kept any home clean sheets whatsoever right? Walk in the park for you lot.

Looking from the outside its an away win but many would have said the same when we lost 5-0 at home to Heed. Injuries have taken their toll some players you can see are physical knackered many of whom are new to full time football.

First goal is vital we have only once come from behind to get a result this season a draw at Real Green Rovers.

Guttridge will not be risked on this pitch and we don't really have an adequate replacement as Howell is also out injured.

Good news that Ricky Miller is suspended for Dover. It means we'll only have to worry about Moses Emmanuel, Ross Lafayette and Tyrone Marsh. Our record at Crabble in recent times isn't great.

Hopefully Dover will be shattered after playing their eleventh game in five days.
Can't see Marsh getting a game. Will be Lafayette with any two from Emmanuel, Modeste and Pinnock

Club just tweeted that pitch is fine and not even got an inspection planned, so travel in confidence Tranmere fans (and then go home disappointed hopefully).

Really worried about tonight, we need to score early to calm everyone down, we need to frustrate Norwood and get him angry. I'd play two up top today, I think Murphy could get around and annoy mcfatty so I'd go doidge and Murphy up top. Think we'll lose 2-1 but hope I'm wrong.

First midweek since starting my new job that I'll be at. Expect a cricket score, but that's not gonna stop me enjoying myself
Dagenham are shit. National League must be piss poor this year. :bdick:

Nice to see it isn't just me who is worried about this game. It's got all the hallmarks of a classic Tranmere 'failed to turn up in an important match' performance. A draw really isn't a disaster for either club so it could be a tight affair. That being said, with the two best defences in the league, I'm going for a 4 - 4 draw because who cares about the form guide?

As for Norwood, he could start on the bench.

Agree about Marsh who like Emmanuel Saturday remains an enigma doesn't he. I know he's been injured but neither appear to have CK's confidence, similar perhaps to when he put Miller on the naughty step for being sent off. I think the latter will play, and probably Modeste even though Pinnock had a decent enough game at the weekend.
Lafayette if fit, will surely start but could need to find the net tonight to guarantee his place at the weekend, because coincidentally or not, we got the ball down a lot more Saturday than we normally do.
We will win? It's a real tough one to call. I think we will, I hope we will, but I wouldn't put any money on it, any more than I would, for once, on the first scorer. Obviously Woking had a great result Saturday but if there is going to be life without Miller, tonight may well go a long way of convinving the faithful of the fact. Looking forward to it actually

Surprised that you are offering any opinion on the National League and especially on a team Halifax have not played for a few years.
Best you concentrate on the NL(N) after your team's humiliating defeat:
(8-man) Curzon Ashton 4-2 Halifax :fl::fl::fl::fl::fl:

CK was very complimentary towards Moses in his post match interview Saturday so hopefully we get to see more of him. Marsh has been injured for the majority of the season, I'm not too sure what's going on there. I actually think not having Miller will free up the others to score some more goals. Can see Lafayette scoring a couple tonight. I really hope Pinnock gets another start tonight, he's looked fantastic when we've seen him.

Might get a chance to see Joe Healy tonight? Can't be any worse than Jim Stevenson, can he?

Likewise definitely wouldn't back Dover tonight at the 4/7 I saw being offered earlier.

This is one of the few games of the season where we're actual underdogs. Tranmere have thrived off that status in the past, let's revive a little bit of history and cause an upset. Come on Rovers!

Indeed, come on FGR. I'm just not feeling confident in the slightest after Saturday's collapse.

You are just a Tin Pot club that has returned to its natural status. Beating you means nothing to us, we expected to do that. None of the REAL clubs would ever crow about beating clubs like yours. :bdick:

3 changes for us.

Howe, Hawkridge and Whitehouse in for Raggett (suspended), Anderson (injured) and Power (not at the level of this team).

Worryingly, four of that back five were part of a poor defence last season. Shame about Anderson because he's done very well for us this season and Hawkridge isn't really a winger type, nor is Whitehouse your typical CM so it'll be interesting to see how that works.

Certainly not our strongest side out.

I assume you're destroying the Conf North?

Well you're above Salford anyway so congratulations.

Silkmen keep the same team, hopefully finding a bit of consistency again. Didn't realise Gateshead were 8 unbeaten though, will be a good win tonight.

So much for FGR's gameplan of winding up Norwood... he's our supersub!
