We've not had a good record at their new stadium. Coming off the back of a defeat against Newport, this will be a challenging fixture, though probably a more open game than last weekend. Think there will be a decent away following, but the SWA will go home disappointed.

Tough trip but we shouldn’t fear anyone, defence has been solid enough so far and if Norwood is on song he’ll be a threat, I’d take a point but fear it may be a narrow defeat. SWA will travel in numbers as usual 7-800 I’ll be making the journey myself from lime street in the morning. Up the whites

Although MK were one of the pre-season favourites, their form is pretty similar to ours: they don't score many goals and they draw a lot of games. I am hopeful we can take something from this.

I think 6-800 will travel.

Traveling down by train for my first and probably last ever visit of stadium MK or what ever it’s called. Not really been a fan of these soulless out of town stadiums, lack of ale houses etc. Hope stadium MK breaks this mould. Anyone out there can point me towards a good non ukipspoons ale house local to the stadium would be appreciated.
Not expecting much from Rovers today. Comfortable home win me thinks.

The Red Lion in Fenny Stratford. Canal side pub, 15 mins walk from the stadium. 5 by cab. Away friendly pub. My local.

Decent away performance against a good MK side that played some nice football. Will take that all day. I hate the ground location, there's literally nothing to do. A lot better than previous visits though due to the result, thank God.

nice ground, but as an away day it’s awful! No decent boozers anywhere! As for the game we rode our luck at times should of really seen the half out and gone in 1 up until Scott came flapping again. 2nd half seemed quite even, we should of won it towards the end with Jennings having a free header and decided to put it wide

Best stadium I’ve ever visited at this level and the best seats I’ve ever sat in at a football match. Was there really 7000 spectators today, looked way under 20% full to me.
Tranmere will be the happier of the 2 teams with a point, another performance full of mistakes from us. Topped off with an absolute clanger from Davies.

I thought we were actually the better side over ninety minutes. More controlled in midfield and had the better possession. MK probably had the better chances but did not deserve to win the game in my view.

We look a much better team when Jonny Smith is in the side, and I thought it was a positive cameo from Harvey Gilmour as well.

Very positive that another of the pre-season favourites did not look any better than us.

Stadium MK has good facilities, but the atmosphere is absolutely dreadful. Simply too big to stage lower division football.

Quite a few MK fans calling for Tisdale to go on the local radio station as I was coming back from our game. A frustrating amount of draws but surely a little early for that sort of talk?

On Twitter some even wanted Karl Robinson back- sure Oxford fans would be delighted to take him off their hands.

They do seem to be quite a moany lot - probably not used to lower league football even after quite a few years!

Well considering most of the MK fan base originally supported premier league clubs, it's hardly surprising they're not happy with mid table league 2 and lots of draws.

Feel Rovers are a decent striker, to partner Nors, away from a play off push at present, but more than happy with midtable for now.

We got Tisdale in to steady a sinking ship, which he has done. However it has been dire football since he came in. Draws and conceding right at the end of matches. I presume he's told them it doesn't finish until the ref blows!

If we had been playing well and getting held, caught on a sucker punch etc. would be one thing, but we aren't playing well and we should be doing better.

Is it time to sack him, of course not. He's in now, give him the season unless it really turns to shit.

As for SuperHorns comment - They do seem to be quite a moany lot - probably not used to lower league football even after quite a few years!

eh, We have only had that one disastrous season in the Championship, the rest have all been leagues 1 & 2. We are well aware how crap it is down here.

As much as I was glad Tisdale left us, he is a decent manager and will need time to get it right. Let’s face it, MK had just been relegated and most likely there was a ‘losing culture’ which takes time to get rid of. Add to that Tisdale has brought in over 10 new players, which again will take a long time to bed in.

I’d be surprised if he goes so soon as a they’re obviously creating but it just isn’t falling for MK at the moment.

ere.

True but as RF says some fans probably go just because its live football in MK and actually support other teams who maybe play more "appealing" football

(And yes we will all have fans like that...)

Were you at the game White Russian? Not there myself and would be interested whether the home fans shared the Rovers view of how things panned out.

It’s far too early to judge Tisdale. While I expected MK to be at least play-off contenders, there are enough worse sides to be in no danger of going down at present.

Yes, was there and would say a draw was fair. I wouldn't say there was anything much between the teams. The trouble is neither could hit the net :ffs:. Pretty football does not win matches if you can't take chances and that applied to both teams.

Theres no chance we will go down but I wonder how much we have put into going up this season and if we don't, how much we will have to tighten our belts next season. At least our support hasn't dropped off too much. Yes, it looks like there are about 10 people in our stadium but 7000 scattered round a 22000 lower tier is always going to look like shit. But hey, the stadium will be full for the Rod Stewart and Take that concerts and that's what matters to the owners :£
