Absolutely scandalous effort from our lot tonight, especially in the second half, we fashioned nothing whatsoever.

Losing 3 times at home to the same team in a season is disgraceful and the blame lands at the managers feet. Shocking lack of a plan B or anyway to counter what Chesterfield have done 3 times, THREE TIMES!

Alli's injury is starting to kill us, and Preston will maul us on Saturday.

Only real moan is the 2nd yellow for Lewington. Really poor decision given he couldn't move and Aribiyi clearly was looking for it. Wouldn't have been so annoyed had the referee followed a consistent line and given Morsy a second yellow for any of 5 fouls following his caution. Still fuck it, we were utter shit tonight.

The overly-tanned one has indeed bagged.

227 Chesterfield fans.
He's a horrible little cocky scrout, but I wish he was ours. Took the goal really well, although had Spence got rid rather than trying to dribble out under pressure, he would never have had the chance.

Standard 'hate him when he's the opposition player but would love him at our club' player following on from Jack Lester's footsteps.

Think we should recall Lavs now :D or should we leave him to knock the Blades out of the play-offs?

The latter please, especially if it does it at Bramall Lane on the last day of the season.

Looks like he is getting fitter and we are going to have him til the end of the season, 4 goals in 6/7 games is a good start. Looks like he fancies filling Doyles boots.

Top result!

It's now got to be said - what would we do without Cookie?

Everytime a big player leaves, everytime it seems like he's just getting players in for the sake of it - previously 'meh' players come good at the right time, or loan signings catch you out with how brilliant they are.

He has his moments, particular stubbornness and some strange subs - But as far as getting stuff done with the resources at hand, he's way too good for us. How we've kept him here after a title, a Wembley appearance and a playoff hunting season in League One, is beyond me.

Paul Cooks barmy army.

Fair point.

As you were Chesterfield fans :D

You're right though, some of the stuff spouted on here and on our forum (in particular) was ridiculous at the time. And i'm as guilty as anyone...i said we needed a major rebuild after the Orient debacle.

Lesson learned here.

Had a sambucca shot with Cookie whilst out on Saturday after the Fleetwood game.
I can't remember if I gave him any tactical pointers, but I can only assume I did.
You're welcome.
