How soon is it acceptable to want a new manager sacked?

I can't actually remember such hostility towards a new manager (at Notts anyway) perhaps since Steve Thompson's appointment way back.
Its all kicked off on Mad and the Chairmans wife is clearly getting incensed by remarks.
The way I see it is if JF doesn't pick up 2-3 wins out of the next 4-5 games I have a feeling we will start to hear the "sack the board" chant.
To be fair though the chairman has put in (supposedly) 16M and has managed to have the club in a worse position to when he took over. I am afraid the buck only lies with one person.

He's got the chance to make history on Saturday - if we failed to score then it'll be the first time in our league history that we'll have gone five home games without a goal. We're now on more than six hours without a goal overall, with the only times we've scored in the last six games being when we were already 3-0 down. This from the team that had scored more home league goals than any other when Moniz was sacked.

Luckily (or unluckily) for you lot you'll be up against our hopeless defence so are almost guaranteed to score.

Mark Cooper appointed on a short term, points target deal which would see a permanent contract should he meet the points total. Can see that becoming a popular contract in the future

Should have got the job 70 days ago, then we wouldn't be in the place we are

You do realise Mark Cooper isn't that great, don't you? Did well at Swindon but pretty average everywhere else.

Right now it feels like dumping Lisa Riley for Kate Upton to be honest. We have plenty of young talented players like Swindon did so hopefully he will get the best out of them. If not, hes a caretaker anyway

Proven great managers don't often jump at the chance to manage a team 19th in League 2.

Very astute Hamez.

That's sort of true, but I don't think that a manager is only really as good as their last job. I'm more comfortable with Cooper than some of the other usual names who may have been successful in more places in the past but have stunk the place out in their last couple of jobs. He at least comes with some ideas that worked at Swindon and, presumably, the self-confidence that comes from that.

He's got a bit of a free hit anyway tbh, taking over a team with some decent players but who are pretty much at rock bottom. The last guy was so bad that he looks like Guardiola and will have the fans on side from the start and a bit of patience and understanding to try and sort things out.

Does anyone else think the points total target is only something like 7 points?

He's got a hell of a job on getting rid of the deadwood Moinz was allowed to sign though. Will he be given a chance?

Most of the rubbish players Moniz signed went in January. It's the shite that our esteemed head of recruitment brought in that we need to worry about.

There's a lot of players who look like deadwood that are actually quite good, though, they've been out of the team because Fullarton hated anyone with any personality or attacking flair. Aborah, Noble, Burke, Valencic, Murray and Snijders should all be back in contention I would think and are all decent enough going forwards.

He's not been playing Noble? Fucking hell. He's seemed the only player who has had a good season for you, More goals than red cards aswell which is a bonus with that lad!

He's started a couple of games but on the left, which is just fucking bizarre. He's decent just really inconsistent, Aborah has been a bigger loss to Fullarton's madness but both should obviously be in the team.

Mark Cooper: I'd rather try to win 4-3 than try to scrape a 0-0 and lose anyway.

^ Haven't you already had one of those this season?!

What a weird thing for him to say... why on earth would anyone prefer to try and scrape 0-0 and lose anyway?

Really? Obviously don't know the ins and outs but won a trophy and had a pretty solid win percentage.

Good luck to Cooper. A lot of things were out of his control here, interested to see if he's able to perform at County.

Questions are and were always asked of how much he actually did last season when we made the play off final, genuine bloke though, glad to see him given another chance in the football league.

I'm hoping it isn't just until the summer.
Although with the club also appointing a CEO to start on the 4th April it could be that this was requested by the new owners as the dates seem to tie up.

Started ok,but then went to pot.Remember a Darlo reporter saying 'embarrassed by Essex pub side' after one particular defeat.
