I would just like the killjoys at SYP to allow us to play Leeds and both Sheffield clubs on a Saturday at 3pm.

Not too bothered about the away games as I won't be paying £37.

* I think I've missed the point of this thread.

Pretty sure I paid £30 last time I went to Bramall Lane in League One.

That's about my limit.

£28 most we charged in our 1st season down for away fans. Was £25 for 4 teams last year £20 for the rest

£24 in 2014/15 and £25 in 2015/16.

Most anticipated for me is whichever away game that falls on a day I'm not working. Even then though I might not bother.

£28 cos I remember Huddersfield fans boycotting it.

Yes it was £28 for category A that season.

However it was £28 for home fans too that season.
I was sat in the South stand and paid £26 because I joined the membership scheme and entitled to a £2 discount.

Do all those naughty Blades frighten you off ?
In all honesty, taking the 70's and 80's out, I found the Blades supporters to be sound and very welcoming when I've been to BL. The Owls not so much but, like modern day football, if you don't look for a row, you're generally ok. It's 2 big clubs with big support so you're bound to have a few idiots although I would imagine the steel derby is a bit lively at either ground?

The biggest mystery in Sheffield is how Wednesday fans actually get into Bramall Lane when we're playing each other. No sign of them before the match and then like magic there they are, in the Bramall Lane end. Incredible !
After the match they just disappear, also incredible.
We believe there's a tunnel somewhere that they enter and exit the ground through.
Last year a big hole opened up in the Decathlon car park about 200 yards from the ground, perhaps that's the answer.

Do you really? Brave twat.
My normal routine for matches at the Lane is to buy a United shit (oops I mean Shirt) and Wear it prior to the match, only taking it off once safely in the ground. I then hide my face during the match and put on the shit shirt again at the end before creeping out away from the big bad Blades fans.
Only once home and doors locked and double bolted do I feel safe. I try not to go out for a further few days either, often missing work just in case there are any still out there hunting me down.
It's truly a miracle how I have survived the amount of times I have been.

True.....

Me sitting on their old John Street and jumping up when Hirsty netted is a long and distant memory....

The coppers have the derbies sown up, no boozing to be really had, we tend to have the top of West St etc at theirs and they have Crookes walking down to ours. Hardly as though they wander into Hillsborough mob handed every game is it.

I assume old John Street is their home end? Did you not get your head kicked in if you jumped up for a goal?

That's our job and we're bloody good at it too! :hypo:
It will actually make a change if posters moan about you lot and the Wednesday posters rather than us, go for it!

Sat on their South Stand twice, once as a kid once in my mid twenties, jumped up both times, no bother either time. As you say days of both sets of away fans in home end are long gone.
No cheap beer in swim Inn prior to match at theirs this season.

United had a period down here when they acted like mammoth twats, though that was at a time when we were neck and neck every season. I think a load of them gave it large in Whitley once and got the windows of their minibus caved in. That's not to tar everyone with the same brush, as I'm sure the likes of blademan are sound.
