Saw two of these threads on the League One forum, merged them together to save a few kb in these troubled times, and plonked it into the non-league forum. Should be interesting to see what fans here class as attractive given how hodgepodge sides often are at this level.

For Halifax Town, Chester remains one of our most interesting fixtures. I think we've got a "keeping up with the Joneses" thing going with them. There are closer teams but we have a lot of fun together. Tranmere Rovers will provide two good opportunities for us to show how MASSIVE we are, and debate will rage for years on how shady it was that the Tannoy man announced our Prenton Park away following as 326. Whoever stays down between Grimsby and Brizzle will be a big game for near enough everybody. Then we'll play it down as a dead-rubber counties cup game, but our trip to Guiseley will be a lot of fun as we're capable of packing out a bit of hard standing and a small seater stand.

Many are on a level for the least attractive fixture. Boreham Wood, Welling, Braintree and Eastleigh probably being the nadirs. Not looking forward to how stir crazy our fans will get when we're not 3–0 up against Boreham Wood 20 minutes in.

Tranmere is one I'm looking forward to. Although they are our 2nd closest of derbies I don't think we've been in same league much in past 30 years. If Merseyside Police allow it to go ahead as a straightforward game (no bubble) I can see 8 to 10,000 in Prenton Park.

Attractive games would be the ones at Dartford and Ebbsfleet, cracking local games with big crowds home and away.

Least attractive, I'm not sure. Basingstoke maybe? Being gouged at St Albans?

Looking forward to seeing what Tranmere and Cheltenham have in store.
Managed to miss out on going to Bromley in our Conference South years so will hopefully go there.
Haven't been to Kidderminster, Altrincham, Macclesfield, Southport or Halifax yet. Not massively bothered about the latter.
Enjoy the two fixtures with Aldershot. Nice to have a 'derby' and they produce above the norm attendances.
Quite like going to Lincoln. Our games always seem to be entertaining and we have a decent record.\

Least attractive: Barrow. Did it on a Tuesday night in our first year back in the Conference and it was awful. Lost 2-0 as well.
Boreham Wood, Braintree, Welling, Eastleigh and FGR are never one's I look forward to. Clubs with little home support, play unattractive football and poor grounds.

If we're doing well it should be a cracking attendance, we've missed having any kind of derby for years so renewing our rivalries should bring a few more fans out of the woodwork.

The one positive about relegation is that we've got some decent local games to look forward to, Chester, Wrexham, Southport, Altrincham, Macclesfield, all closer than any of the games we had this season.

Tranmere is the big one for us next season, I've never seen a competitive game against them so looking forward to it. Will be good to be able to go to a derby match without a bubble (hopefully). Result wise Wrexham will still be the biggest game for us but its not much fun now with the travel/ticket restrictions and will only be worse this season after the damage last season.

For me, it's Chester, Wrexham, Southport, Macclesfield and Altrincham as the games I'm really looking forward to. For the least attractive - any club South of Bristol. We've had far too many South East/South West games in the last few years and it's no surprise to see the other local North West sides naming each other. We've got a brilliant little 'mini-league' this season with 8/10 games with teams within 45 mins/1 hour.

Kiddy and FGR are games that I'm looking forward to, Bristol Rovers if they stay down.

Other than that, everything else will be much of a muchness as far as I'm concerned. Wouldn't mind a trip to Woking as the last time I went the game was called off just after half-time due to fog.

I always look forward to games against the new teams in the division, regardless of which direction they have come from. Clearly the big one for us next season will be Cheltenham, with both teams keen to claim the honours in a Gloucestershire derby. I wouldn't be surprised if BT cover at least one of the games, although that is probably dependant on whether they are scheduled for the Festive Season. Other games I look forward to, Kiddy, Bristol Rovers (if it all goes wrong on Sunday) and this season may go to Tranmere as it is a ground I have never been to before. Least attractive fixtures, nothing really in the league, but always a bit nervy that we will get turned over badly in the cups.

Bit harsh to lump us in there, our ground isn't that bad in fact it's probably better then yours. Also our average home support last season was almost as many as Braintree, Welling and Boreham Wood's put together, so we're fairly average in this league crowd wise. We do play unattractive football though.

That's fair enough. I suppose I should have said that at least one of those attributes is relevant to all of the clubs. And in some cases all three. :conf:

Fair enough lol. I actually enjoy visiting your ground, it's one of our closer away games (under 90 miles) and it's usually very friendly, with no segregation and some amusing banter behind the goal. Decent bar as well, even got free food in there once.

Obviously the best ones for us are The Gas and Cheltenham, Kiddy is also brilliant for obvious reasons as is Torquay especially if it's a bank holiday weekend and decent weather.

Aldershot is another one which is relatively decent journey wise, and is a great relic to what football grounds used to be like back in the day. Their fans can generate a pretty decent atmosphere as well.

Least attractive fixtures Barrow, Halifax and Boreham Wood.

Most attractive - Woking for the local game, even if the away terrace isnt that great. Cheltenham and Tranmere should be decent next season and Torquay's ground is quite nice.

Least attractive - Gateshead, Altrincham, Southport. Mainly for the long journeys but also their grounds aren't that great either. Welling's ground isnt that appealing but they were very welcoming when we visited last season so for that reason (plus its reasonably local) they just miss out on the least attractive.

The South has plenty of decent away days, obviously Truro is the standout fixture for me. I'd like to tick off Weston, Bath, Dartford and Maidstone too.

Least attractive would be Concord. Canvey Island, blergh!

I am looking forward to a number of clubs this season in the North namely FC United, Curzon, Harrogate and Stockport.

I am not looking forward to Flyde, Lowestoft and Bradford PA however.

Truro are likely to be playing in Torquay mate if you weren't aware.

I keep forgetting Torquay. Praying we get them on a Saturday away this season as not been for a weekend down there since 2006.

Will you be visiting Cheltenham for the City game?

Looking forward to Tranmere, enjoyed our last trip up there. Cheltenham is always a good day out too. The two games against Woking are good for a giggle and of course Eastleigh in the Hampshire Tinpot Derby. Torquay away is always on a Tuesday but I'll stay down again if it's in the summer.

To be honest, I enjoy all our awaydays, there's always something special about following your team away and a good day out is usually had.

That said, not looking forward to Dover, our record against them is worse than shite, but it was the day after our trip there last year my Old Man passed away, I think it was the sheer ineptitude of the performance that finally saw the old bugger off, so the next trip there will be difficult to say the least.

FA Cup six years ago. 0-0 at your place, you did us 1-2 at us as we totally bottled the replay.
