I suppose Barnet don't count as a proper club due to them been the nearest thing to a conference/league 2 yo yo club

The fact it's you that's pushed us closest, I'd say that results in something of rivalry. Yeah a bit cringy singing about it, but fuck me dont cry about it!

Nice to know we’ve had a rivalry at last. We’ve not had one since New Brighton disappeared and this despite our best efforts in trying to create ones with Chester and Wrexham!

We have a bigger rivalry with Stevenage than Macclesfield. Really nothing to see.

The players were tits and rightly in the tinpot thread but I don’t know why anyone actually got “upset”.

This forum will be dead next season by the way with all the posters who'll be leaving it. Macc, Tranmere, Chester, Torquay, Woking and maybe Dagenham too by the sounds of it. Looking forward to the influx of Harrogate and Dartford fans though.

Don’t forget the leaving Leyton Orient fans.

Correct.

Paul Doswell saying his side haven't been given respect from anyone this season, and then had to ask the post match interviewer whether it was Fylde or Flyde. Good of you to educate yourself on your peers Dos. :ffs:

First rule of life. Behave like an aggressive knob and there is a chance you may get hit.

I learnt that at school, your kit man clearly didn't.

I learnt in nursery school that if I hit someone because I didn't like how they acted then that made me an idiot

Is that the dodgy bloke who teamed up with the Sun and god knows who else in that betting scam?
Nah he's just another salt of the earth character from Sutton. And we all thought FGR were bad for top lads.

Judging my Toswell’s tweets in January whinging about the football league not allowing plastic pitches, Sutton have already secured promotion anyway. Might as well cancel the playoffs.

* WARNING LONG POST* Mr Jamie Waltham and the North Ferriby circus

This is absolute prime tinpot comedy gold. Taken from another forum.

Just to update this thread, for those who may have missed it.

The last couple of months have been interesting for Ferriby fans during the tenure of Mr Waltham [ex-Hull United, ex-East Yorkshire Carnegie, with neither ending particularly well for those Clubs]

This was covered in brief detail during a 6m video by Non-League YT, here :

So, for those that weren't aware, Mr Waltham's plan was to take the NPL Licence of the West-Hull based Club and transfer it to Dunswell Park, in North-East Hull.

Additionally, by way of background, once Mr Waltham acquired the Freehold for Dunswell Park [Mortgaged] he evicted Hull United [who were then Removed from NCEL-D1 at the end of 2015/16 and created EYC in its place.

EYC then applied to play in the NCEFL-D1 for 2017/18 and Mr Waltham Owned, Chaired & Managed that side until he acquired Ferriby, at which point he held Interests in more than one Club and quit. EYC continued to play at Dunswell.

A new Phoenix Club would then apply to entry for the NCEFL-D1 or would take a voluntary multi-division multi-League Relegation, Jamie hadn't quite worked out the details.

Notwithstanding, of course, that there is no provision found for the latter course either in the Standardised Rules or within the Rules for the Operation of the National League Structure, which would allow such a thing to occur.

The nearest thing within the Regulations, owing to the Winkelman Dons Incident, begins with a Consultation involving the fans prior to such a move taking place.

To this end, Mr Waltham co-opted the Hull Daily Mail to undertake a poll on his behalf as part of their 08/02/2018 article.

Mr Waltham presented the results of his request to the FA and what they had asked of him in respect of the same.

The fans voted against the move unanimously on Monday 16 April, 2018. Even the previously pro-relocation Hull Fanatic was now swinging behind the fans.

So, the Association had spoken and the fans had spoken.
Mr Waltham had simply to go away, lick his wounds and come up with a solution.

This was his solution.
Do please take 31s out of your day to watch this video, if you've not seen it.:

There.
Now, that was worth it, wasn't it?

The fans initially gave a measured response to the absurdity.
