This is pitiful.
Borehamwood tweet a video of their fans celebrating their first goal last night, the only problem being that most of them don’t seem that engrossed in the match. Cue lots of sarky comments and a bit later the they delete the tweet.

Having a open top bus parade before the final has even been played

This could rival the Mansfield parade
maybe, is it also just a bit of a publicity stunt for Papa Johns? The thing I liked best about that though was that the bus will have Sutton's players and management....

... and Clinton Morrison, on board.

But either way, good on you for bringing the Mansfield parade back to public attention

I'll throw this in here. Basically all the decent club staff and Stewards have left or leaving and some Ex-Army Lad has got some of his mates in as Steward/Security(Sounds like one who was trying to drum up business in Barton with the help of the local rag)and there was an incident on saturday. This is the pathetic response.

It wasn’t great.

On the plus side we’re not non league anymore.

That ramp is mental though. Why not just build a lift?

infrastructure and demand will govern it

lift installation considerably more expensive than a ramp. if only a handful need that sort of access then ramp will always win

They sent it here on Wednesday to attend two junior schools, then onwards to NYS and Parkgate Retail World.
The club were selling RUFC Wembley merchandise from it and Papa John staff were giving away free pizza, the kids loved it.

Ticket sales have been very average, the figure was creeping up towards 12500 midweek.
In 1996 we took over 20000 but this is our 5th visit, 2010, 2014, 2018 and now 2022, (note the 4 year gaps).

Its an expensive day out Wembley and a lot of people are skint.
I'm going with the wife and son but the rest of the family weren't interested this time.
In fact I actually bought a ticket for my 6 year old grandson and now he won't go.
Oh and you can't get a refund on the ticket (terms and conditions blah, blah grabbing bar stewards).

We avoided schools and the tour ended up in Sutton town centre. Seems to have been quite popular and we’ve shifted quite a bit of merchandise as a result.

We had sold 13,500 as of yesterday afternoon. Not bad for a club averaging 3,000 at home. One hope some those attending Wembley will become regulars.

I’m not overly optimistic about our chances. But I’m never optimistic about Sutton.

That's very impressive ticket sales, what local league club's fans will be supporting you for the day?
When we played Daggers in 2010 there seemed to be quite a lot of West Ham fans boosting their numbers.

Regarding the game, you couldn't be playing us at a better time, we have been limping along form wise for 2 months but gaining some lucky wins along the way.

Of course if we do turn up and play like we can, we are favourites but we can get punished by pacy players. So don't write off your chances, we were favourites against Daggers and lost.
