It was bizarre.

Had the game in their pockets and they folded like a deck of cards. It was only because our 2-2 goal came with a fair amount of time left that they feel it was good. I was surprised at how quickly they allowed us back in, usually it's hard to play against 10 men because they make it difficult. That was more the case in the last 10 minutes and adde time to be fair but before that they handled the man disadvantage poorly.

But they have form for losing leads, they were 11 points ahead of us a couple of months ago.

I agree. The one thing that did give it a higher prominence, is after a very good run against teams in and around us in the lower reaches of the division when we played then, it was our first game against a top 5 team, I think since the new team and playing system has been put together by the new management team.

That coupled with £5 a ticket was a bigger factor.

The knock on effect is that it has kept us on a roll. Up to 1,000 tickets sold for our match with your good selves on Saturday. It has also been noted from your website that musical instruments are banned, so the drum will be left in Southend. .

But a letter of protest has been sent to the musicians union about restriction of trade
