Not bad to be fair, but I would have us a lot higher than 18th. The bottom 4 is a very good shout.

As things stand there's no way Chesterfield will be 14th. I also expect Burton, Swindon and us to do better than that.

I expect Scunthorpe, Millwall and Doncaster to finish above us. Between 10th and 15th for us I reckon is a good season for us.

And your evidence for this is...?

I'm not saying you're wrong, but that's a bold claim to make this early. Especially considering we improved drastically under him at the back end of last season.

Based on what I saw in our friendly, it could be a long hard season for you. If the chairman sticks with DR for long enough it could be mid-table at best.

I could be wrong but like I said, you looked awful against us.

With all due respect, if you're judging how a team will fare over the course of a season off the back of one pre-season friendly, then you've got a lot to learn.

Christ alive you Cambridge lot are thick.

Did I at any point say you were wrong? I just said basing opinions off one pre-season friendly is ridiculous.

And I don't think the first game of a 46 game season is enough to back up your point.

Sorry Dom, but I don't agree with you.

We didn't improve at all under him at the back end of last season, in fact we went the other way. We started well under him, but then only won 2 of the last 10 games. In fact, he has only 6 of his 15 games in charge. Hardly setting the world alight.

Our squad this season is no better than last seasons, and if you take away a crocked premier league quality midfielder who will barely feature because his knees are fucked, the squad is probably worse than last years.

I have to agree with the scum fan, I think we are in a for a long, hard season. I predicted we would finish 16th, but I worry that may be a little optimistic.

I would be absolutely astounded if we finished anywhere near the play-offs, let alone in the top 3.

I'm thick because I asked you how today was? Hmmm ok. Judging by twitter and the mealtdown on your forum and the fan above. You're the deluded one my friend.

Steady on, mate. I never said we're not. I don't disagree with the second half of your post about this season but if you'd have watched Fergusons Peterborough regularly last year and Robertson's Peterborough, the latter was much better.

My only gripe was someone judging off the back of a pre-season friendly.
