It’s prolonged the survival of our hopes of escaping but we need to pick up some points away from home.
At this rate I might end up seeing hours of Allen deploying his specialty 7-3-0 formation.

Grimsby’s late winner was a killer for us but we did what was needed today and have kept ourselves alive for another week at least.

Not sure we will still be alive after losing next week but we can but hope for a miracle...

I have no desire to ever watch 30 minutes of football with 1 striker, 3 midfielders and 6 defenders ever again. That was absolutely nerve-shredding (as well as completely awful to watch). FGR offered absolutely nothing which was very surprising given the quality of their attacking players.

I'm really starting to lose faith in Coulthirst though. He's not very good. Came to us with such promise too.

Watched the game on iFollow - pretty comfortable in the end but not at all pretty, except for the goal. Sitting back for the entire second half was a risky tactic given our appalling defence but FGR created next to nothing.

FGR have possibly taken over from Grimsby as our unlikely target for an improbable survival. Need them to fail to win again for us to stand a chance :sur:

Well, that was FUCKING AWFUL.

Barnet are pretty shit, but they knew how to play us and looked like they really wanted it. Unlike us. That second half was so tedious it was unreal, Barnet showing no ambition whatsoever to attack, sitting everyone back, putting defenders on, time wasting etc whilst we slowly passed it sideways without ever looking like having a shot. And to make things worse a few of our players kept slipping over like fucking clowns, This happened at Crewe as well. Wtf, can't we even get some proper studs?

I tell you what, whoever puts the highlights together had a tough job with that one.

There is an extended 10 minute highlight reel of the match on our website. I haven’t watched it yet!

Does that include full coverage of substitutions and the bits where players are waiting for a new ball after kicking one out of the ground?

Just watched it. I can confirm that there's 7 minutes of the warm up, 1 minute of the players shaking hands, 30 seconds of the goal, and a minute and a half of the managers shaking hands at the end.

If it’s a 10 minute vid they could’ve just interviewed all the FGR supporters that were there individually and gave them 1 minute each.

Maths not a strong point then, eh Fish?

225 minute-long interviews wouldn't fit into a 10 minute show. :ffs:

There must've been quite a lot that had gone for their half time cuppa early then as when I saw Barnet's goal on tv's it looked a lot sparser than that.

I have to say that for a lot of the smaller followings, the followings look sparser and fewer to my naked eye than the published figures. Saturday wasn't the only time I thought that.

Most definitely this. I am incredibly surprised to hear 226 were there. It looked barely over 100!
