Was a very sad day but for me the damage was done the week before when Barnet beat us 2-0 at the Vic. I knew the game was up then. I was completely gutted. Just me and a mate sat in my car for what must've been an hour not even moving in total silence. Even after Rodders put us ahead against Donny I knew something else was gonna happen.
Funny how it goes. I went down to Kidderminster from Salford one evening late on in the 2015/16 season. Kidderminster were mathematically down if they didn't win that night, with a handful games to go. We lost in the most lousy fashion 0–1. After probably annoying the rest of our following shitless by yelling "COME ON" several times a minute I silently went to the car and it was about quarter to 11 that I set off. We had it entirely in our hands last game of the season, but it was that night that you got an inkling we were doomed.

Rodders really made an impression with you lot didn't he, I wonder what's happened to him that turned him into a footballer all of a sudden, no malice from me, good luck to the lad, I actually wanted him to stay when he left for Salford.

He was awesome for us. Great turn of pace, positional awareness, holding the ball up, bringing others into play. Just the sort of striker we'd been crying for all season

What's Duku like? We had an offer for him turned down in January and are being linked with him again.

Good player. Quite quick for a big man. Will chip in with the odd goal. Does have a tendency of drifting out of games and being subbed off after an hour. He's still a little raw with room for improvement. Overall, I'd take him again next season. He's worth a punt.

We liked him too during his loan spell with us last season and would certainly welcome the chance to sign him on permanently.

Your personal player of the season:
Luke Trotman - not many stand out players in a poor season. But this guy is consistently one of the best RB's in the league. Deserves his chance playing higher.

Your teams best prospect:
Luke Trotman - will be 22 in June. One of the best right backs in the league and in my opinion would be worth a shot at FT in league 2.

Biggest Flop:

Jonny Burn - I have never seen a CB like it. The lad cant jump, cant tackle, cant track a man and is quieter than a church door mouse. Why in God's name we gave him a 2 year deal and how he has been with Middlesborough and Bristol Rovers I will never know.

Top Scorer:

Jordan Nicholson - 11 goals from CAM in a poor team is a good return.

Most Improved:

Tom Elliott - came as a bit of an under the radar signing from Nuneaton. But is a really tidy footballer, good on the ball, plenty of energy and has filled in well at RB, RWB, LB,LWB and CM through out the season.

Team strength:

We have strengthened immeasurably off the field this season. That's about it really.

Team Weakness:

Playing football.

Season Rating out of 10:

4/10 - we didn't get relegated (=2 points) and off the field financially and at board room level we are in a far better position than we have ever been in. The less said about the football the better.

Manager rating out of 10
:
2/10 - Tommy Wright... a really nice bloke. But not a football manager at this level. All season we've look disorganised. Changed systems regularly, poor signings over the summer. He rightly walked away after the last game of the season as fan opinion grew against him.

If you could sign one player from another team in this league who would it be?
Glenn Taylor (Spennymoor)

CM - Rob Ramshaw (Spennymoor)

Your personal player of the season: Rob Lainton
Your teams best prospect: Doug Tharme
Biggest Flop:

Top Scorer: It's Shaun Pearson (no, seriously). Steve's got it wrong above unless he's counting cup goals.
Most Improved: I'll go for James Jennings. I wanted rid of him at the end of last season but he's mostly done a decent job at left back.
Team strength: Defence, duh
Team Weakness: Attack, duh
Season Rating out of 10: 6
Manager rating out of 10: Snake - 8, Barrow - 0, Hughes - 4
If you could sign one player from another team in this league who would it be? If I'm keeping it semi-realistic I'll say Jack Muldoon.
