Ref allowing Fylde to absolutely mob Denton everytime the ball goes up. Horrific officiating.

First brotherhood team to visit the EBB this season. Need a win today.
i dont think I've witnessed a more defensively incompetent display since the Darren Kelly era. The frustrating thing is we were the better side first half but capitulated on two of the only three attacks Shots had. Clarke's missed header from 6 yards summed up how this day will pan out. My long awaited search for an away victory in cockney land goes on.

Sutton fans getting pissy - two goals disallowed. They are pretty poor though.

This is legitimately the worst referee I have ever seen in my life. He's reversing his decisions. He sent of Weston for reasons known only to himself... The lino ran over to him and he rescinded it. I don't even know what's going on

Edit: 1 minute later, Denton absolutely mauled down to the floor, stone wall pen, nothing given. He's totally lost any plot he might have had!

Barrow 2-1 Sutton

We were very good first half with Hindle scoring another great goal after 2 mins. Sutton so physical and scrappy, but officials totally inept.

Second half more even and things turned feisty when Sutton scored with our keeper face down in the grass for a good 10 seconds before they got it in the net. Right decision.

Probably 10 mins later they had another ruled out for offside and Roswell lost his shit. Then we hot the post before another nervy finish with Sutton on top.

One of Sutton's players swung a punch after the final whistle and had to be dragged away. No idea what went on, but Roswell was being a c*** and seemed to be stirring things. A great end to a good game.

Sounds like it was a day for clueless ref's cos we had one as well, Boreham Wood aren't a bad side when they try and play football, they knocked it around well for the first 30 mins, then seemed to resort to bully boy tactics, poor first half from us, much better second half and probably deserved winners.

We’re so bad away from home, I expect a draw now. On a plus note I won a decent bit of cash on the Salford/Harrogate double.

Best defensive record in the league, shite going forward. New territory for us this. Been top scorers past 2 seasons. Absolutely no chance this year

What an odd team Solihull are. Full off guys who spend more time lifting weights looking at the size of them. Thankfully they were rubbish but I can see that they will push a lot of teams around. However they were very limited.

Aldershot (and Boreham Wood, apparently )
Blimey,3-0! Two sides trying to play football at the rec. Halifax can knock it around quite well, but tactically nieve, giving the Shots far too much space and time. Expected Halifax to push up and close our midfield down after the break, but if anything, gave us more room.Still "striking" problems for Shots, but midfield starting to do the business. Reading loanee Oshu class act,far too good for this level.Heigh-Ho, onwards and upwards...

Two 1-0 away wins in a row with a draw at home v Halifax sandwiched in between. The effort put in has been top drawer, there’s been some really good individual performances but as a team, we’re working for each other again. Long may it continue.

Grinded out a 2-0 win at Maidenhead. Not one for the purist, thats for sure.

We had two chances in the first half and took them, with probably the best two bits of football in the game. Maidenhead missed an open goal at 1-0, but other than that and despite having all the ball, I didn't really feel threatened by Maidenheads attack. Infact I'd say their attackers were on par with Braintree and Dovers - Very, very little quality in the final third.

The conditions and pitch made for a poor spectacle, Maidenheads tactic of launching it long the whole time into the channels we dealt with quite well I thought. We didn't play anywhere near as well as we did at Harrogate or Braintree, but we was professional enough to see the win out.

Top 4 all won - As I said, Ourselves, Wrexham and Harrogate are gonna have to win every game this month to even stand a chance of catching Salford - Who play Braintree at home next FFS!

I’m done, that was probably worse than Solihull. No chance whatsoever with this squad and Taylor at the helm. Really can’t stomach anymore of it probably 5-6 games this season we’ve not had a shot on target, abysmal.

To counterbalance this we were utter shite 2nd half but at least we only lost 2nd half 1-0. Small margins.

Did no Halifax fans warn you? Denton doesn't get penalties.

I’ve only been to one home game this season too. No intention of going again any time soon

The unique bond of going bust and reforming as a new club about 5 divisions down. Chester and Darlington are both in this particular family of brothers too.
You are quite right brother, they were in FL in 1986 with us too. I think you've finally got it now, well done.:woo:

There are some very silly people writing some very silly things on our home forum this evening and for once I can't be bothered logging in to participate. Does anybody want to talk about anything? :ds:

We did have Southwell's shot cleared off the line (from where we were, I thought we'd scored but then again we were 60 yards away on the other side of the half way line. Then there was Preston's shot against the bar. Overall though, not a good day.
