Decent chance for us to make up some ground on the teams above us whose games are already off with a match at Kings Lynn. This will be one of their biggest gates of the season so knowing Cleeve as we do I imagine it will take a bubonic plague outbreak in the KL squad for them to call this one off.

Still absolutely fuming we got shafted and this is our 'week off'. Could have had a midweek in Feb, but no we got bloody Boxing Day. Going to actually have to talk to some family now

Yeah that was my thinking, no way Lynn call it off and we seem okay so should be on.

They’ve fucked the chances of a big away following, though. Tickets only went on sale on Monday, late enough to worry about the Christmas post, no pay on the day for some reason and they had to be collected from Notts. Bizarre stuff, without even mentioning the mental prices.

Assuming our games go ahead we couldn’t hope for an easier Xmas with two games against Dover. Most of our injured are now back as are those who missed last week due to rona. Walker and Jones are back which is massive for us, hopefully they stay fit now and we can go on a run. We can’t be Dovers first win can we.

Bad doo no game boxing day. Grimsby running scared. Or the technical term is Covid

Stockport trying to derail us by recalling Newby. Worked with Bell last season to be fair so understand why their trying it again.

When I looked at the fixtures start of season I was certain our Boxing Day game would be off but I was expecting it would be because of the weather not pissing Covid.

Should rename this Bromley v Southend

We've apparently got Covid cases in the team but want the game to go ahead! Starting to think the club might actually be trying to get relegated.

A tough but exciting game at Plainmoor. All depends on which Torquay turn up.................

We're off on the 28th. We have played 2 games in December! Last season I think we played 32

And one game in the last month! Though if Klopp was our manager he’d still be whining about fixture congestion.

Approaching another (home end) sell-out for Boxing Day now. Away ends at Alty and Solihull rapidly sold out, definitely some FOMO going on 'round here so we're grabbing any chance to see a game we can

Home end now sold out. God knows when the last time that happened for a normal league game.

Oh no, it’s pay on the day! According to Stephen Cleeve on Twitter! But not either club! Great comms everyone, well done.

I will take any kind of victory against Kings Lynn today. With it being our last game of December. It is a good chance to make up some ground.

It does have a 1-0 Pierce Bird goal written all over it though.

Looking forward to our annual Boxing Day defeat to Aldershot. Only 3 hours to go.

Good news is our owner has come out and said Alan Dowson is the man to take us to the Football League:crazy:

We wouldn't have been playing even if Grimsby had been able to. Snow is bad enough to have called it up here.

Yes, how dare we recall one of our own players. Not sure why we've done it but I worry that maybe we've got a few out with the lurgy although there doesn't seem to be any 'noise' coming out of the club to that effect.

You recalled Bell last season to derail us we were on fire when he was here. You never used him when you called him back. Let's see if you use Newby.

Pitch inspection at Kings Lynn at 2pm. Ref has asked to speak to Lynn’s groundsman - only to be told they ‘haven’t got one’, according to our local beeb guy…
