Oh, and a delight to see the Shwan Jalal Orient fans know and despise make an appearance this weekend. That's how he played in both his matches for us.

Nope and no sign of that happening anytime soon either. Fans are already starting to turn on him as well, looks completely different player to the one we had on loan last season...

To be honest id be shocked if he lasts the season with us
Same happened here as well.

He'll probably get sent off a couple of times soon.

We need a result against you. Torquay fans told me yesterday that Chester are shit, but yourselves and Guiseley are shitter. It's a win win for us. Win and we get 3 points, lose and Useless McCarthy might get the Nine, Ten Jack.
As was said ~ without giant Ryan Astles we'd have been tonked yesterday, despite probably having more clear cut chances.
Why did you need Torquay fans to tell you that? I'd already told you. In fact you've been shit ever since you arrived in this division. But for 2 clubs going bust in your first season you'd have gone down that year and still be keeping Stockport company. :ds:

The ref can probably explain it as well as he can explain not giving a penalty and a red card against your keeper when he manhandled Bonne on the goal line.
The Mooney penalty was even worse! Not surprised the lads heads dropped after that.

If you say so. I thought the amount of time your side wasted yesterday was pathetic. It's a shame that the referee did nothing about and then only added on four minutes at the end.

Kellerman was so pathetic with his time wasting that he couldnt walk off the pitch at full time and looked like he was being sick on the pitch...

Yep in fairness...Chester are awful. As bad as we were last season, and though Chester fans were revelling in that- we still finished clear of them. Now they seem to be clinging to the hope that Guisley and Solihull are worse. When did Chester last win at the Deva?

What about the throw ins? It took an age for you to take one every single time.
Kellerman wasn't the only one falling to the floor every five minutes.

Bitter, much? I'm sure if you'd have been 1-0 up with two 17 year olds on the pitch and half your side carrying knocks you would have chased a second.

I think I was the lone sceptic regarding DSY's signing. Never had any faith he'd recreate what he did last season.

I think Saunders' biggest weakness is his loyalty to those who've done a job in the past.

Correct. Although, your time wasting was one of the worst cases I've ever seen.
On a brighter side, I did enjoy my away day in Aldershot for the second year running. Good pub and a nice old fashioned ground. Would like to see you go up.

Aldershot have loads of injuries and are short on numbers at the moment but STILL winning against all the odds, not sure anyone has mentioned it yet.

They've literally played all of the bottom six twice so far. It doesn't mean anything.

Jon McCarthy, we want you to stay!
If we'd had the managers Chester have had since they arrived in this division we'd be back in Unibond North. Christ, our board of directors take some shit from fans but they've found us 3 cracking managers (and 2 shit ones to be fair). Here again, I think Chester demonstrate the limitations of the fan owned model- it's basically government by committee: never a good idea. :ds:

Seriously, how on earth did we lose to Chester the other week?

Since we went to Chester in Febraury and drew, (and that was only because Alabi threw himself on the floor and conned the ref into giving a pen) I think you can count on one hand the number of wins Chester have managed. They are at home on Saturday - I can't remember the last team they beat at the Deva.

Last win at home was 17th December 2016 v Aldershot.

There's rumours that an emergency board meeting has been called for tonight.
