i suspect there may be a few teams who won't get 22 points until Easter

Challinor must be under some serious scrutiny now.

Challinor has a job for life there.

How on earth is John Sheridan still at Chesterfield more to the point.

Say guys, good luck with that table thing you've got going.

There's only one table that counts though isn't there. :woo:

Sutton look a poor side, other than 1 chance in the first half that o’brien saved brilliantly they offered absolutely nothing. It was just a case of if we could break them down. Which we should have done multiple times in the first half as their defending from set pieces and crosses was almost non existent.

Risking my internet safety to tell you all that I think we are fucking shite.

Probably won't post again until this site gets its security sorted out (or bans B2TF ) but I'm not doing a onedecentlester.

2 points wasted away tonight first half was dire, where we matched Gravesend's league position, Gravesend got lucky with the goal, a couple of mistakes and the plucky lot from Gravesend took the lead, they did their best to allow us to get even , but yet again we blew the spot kick all the way to the P and O terminal in the docks. Second half we improve some what and equalised , and after that it look like only one team who score again , but our wasteful attacks along with their dirty shirt pulling and holding and grabbing, even a hand ball in the box, all oblivious to a fuck poor referee totally out of his depth worked for them to take a point , s we continue to drop points at home again m although our boss said he was happy with the performance .... onto Boringwood Saturday

Sutton were dreadful at home to Maidenhead on Saturday. Zero attacking threat, defence arguing with each other which nearly boiled over into a fight at one point.

I don't understand, where's all those Wrexham & Fylde fans that've been lording it on here in recent times? Where have they gone? Are they poorly. If anybody knows them could they knock on their doors and check in on them. I'm worried about them. Thanks. :ds:

How much longer are Chesterfield going to continue with John Sheridan ?. He recently told people 'you don't understand this division' no John its YOU who doesn't understand it.

Very pleased with the win against Plastic Blackpool last night. They played pretty football and put us under some serious pressure, but we're a very resolute side and ground out the victory.

About 60 Blackpool fans made the long and treacherous journey. Embarrassing!

Ah glad my phone hasn't been hacked or something then! Hope the safety cert issued can be sorted soon.

Pretty awful 0-0 draw with Solihull, although Damien McCrory missed a great chance to win it in injury time. Solihull were fit, physical and organised, and Blissett was a giant nuisance up front. We couldn't really play through them and created very little. Brightened up when Kristian Dennis came on - hopefully he will start at Sutton on Saturday. Grumblings are growing against Ardley now though, if we lose that they'll be getting louder and louder.

Only a matter of a short period of time before Ardley gets his marching orders.

Hopefully the Reedz are already crunching the numbers and getting their hi tec computers to spit out the name of a decent replacement.

God knows. Whole club is rotten. JS probably isn't even a fraction of our problems sadly. Probably better off just pulling the plug and starting again. Lowest ever crowd at the new ground last night, taken the record from Saturday. Literally nobody I know is willing to go and give money to Dave Allen or Ashley Carson anymore, and rightly so.

I'll keep finding better things to do with my weekends for now.

Ah, Allen and Carson. The names should have told you what was coming.

Yeah we've had a good start but I'm not getting carried away, I mean like, I'm not forgetting that all the teams we've played so far are below us in the league. :woo:

What the hell is the Sutton manager on? They deserved a draw?!? They had one attempt in the whole game and defended for the rest of it. Absolutely deluded.

You'll find that a lot of managers at this level will talk shite about the game, because very few people were there to call them out on it.
I remember the Havant and Waterlooville manager last season after a 3-0 defeat at Barrow trying to say his side were robbed - they were abysmal - and their local press lapping it up.

Decent 2-0 win for us last night. That's our 1 in 4 decent performance, so expecting us to lose without having a shot on goal at Ebbsfleet on Saturday, we never do well down there.
But you never know...

Bravo Chief. It's so silly when people stop posting when the club they follow is struggling. A tad hypocritical I reckon.

And yeah, this security stuff needs sorting out asap.

Barra's forum/twitter on the game last night has been brilliant reading. Apparently we were a narky physical side who time wasted and had the ref in our pocket. This is what 10 teams a season do at the Vic to get their wins. Are we FINALLY learning how to get results in this league?
