Easy to say it, but if we hadn't chucked away a couple of games with stupid mistakes we'd be top. The form side in the division, joint top scorers, and playing some fantastic football - we'll lose one of our two home games next week, but I reckon we can beat anyone in the division right now.

It would’ve been a travesty had we not won that, best team all over the pitch.

Sounded like a cracking game. Massive gamble tuning into that but for once Pools have improved my mood. Raynes sounded class on Radio Tees but we can’t kill teams off and almost paid the price again

Decent point. Sounded as though we were a bit fortunate too.

Woking and Bromley next. With only tinpotters above us, we’re in very good shape despite not looking particularly good :cool1:

6 league wins on the trot now and bossed the game away at the league leaders who perhaps only had 2 or 3 chances all match. Including last season that's 12 or 13 away games on the bounce that we've led at half time...

Best performance of the season, but we still aren't killing teams off, we had plenty of chances first half, keeper made some saves and we were wasteful, they barely had a sniff.

Raynes was unreal, Kennedy best game in a Pools shirt and Gime was his usual bag of tricks tied their defence and himself in knots at times.

Good point for us in the relegation DOG-FIGHT against Part-Time Woking.

Well, pretty much a third of the way through the season and the supposed whipping boys are at the top. Not saying we will finish there but to think we were going to get relegated was always going to be a brave call.

I dont know what our manager has to do to get sacked. I'd admire the loyalty but surely now time is running out. I wouldn't back us to beat anybody.

In fairness we didn't deserve to win that today, you were much better than us in the second half.

11 unbeaten (5 wins, 6 draws).

I feel like we're on the edge. A good goalscorer away from being real challengers but at this rate, we'll probably be in the 6th-10th hunt. Quigley just isn't good enough really.

Today we battered Barnet in the first half but they sucker punched us shortly after we scored the opener. 2nd half was both teams cancelling each other out. I expect Barnet to be in the top 7, even though they weren't at their best today. They have the foundations that you need at this level and good movement going forward. They'll win more than they lose.

Sheridan sounds like he's about to have a breakdown on the highlights show. His continued employment is so confusing.

Can only be the cost of sacking him that's keeping him in a job.

Thought 2-2 was about right for Dover vs Notts. Enjoyable game, we played the better football but they had a couple of really clear chances missed so fair’s fair.

Another really fun away day.

Sitting by a pool in Saudi Arabia drinking someone else’s homemade wine. Sun is out, life’s not too bad. Do I turn on the Pools game today...Probably not eh?
Hope you’re not part of some dodgy moonshine racket!

I thought we were worth a draw . Dover had some good chances, so did we. Really impressed with our spirit this season, good teams tend to score late.
If Wes Thomas could finish he'd be in the Championship.

Should frame that last bit :)

thought we just edged it
super striker Effiong ought to have had a hat-trick
Cumberbatch header where he was too short & great 1-on-1 save by your keeper at the end
our manager thought you were the best team he seen this season!

It sounds a bizarre thing to say but we're the best team I've seen this season. We've dropped points rather than scraped points for the most part although today we deserved nothing more than a point.
Not that we're great but we're becoming hard to beat and are creating chances despite having some key players out the last few weeks.

Nah the country is awash with it you’d be surprised ( but only in certain places and keeping it indoors strongly advised) . Even some of the locals are at it as well, if they’re not in Bahrain getting legally hammered every weekend. Funny old place.
