Sounded like we had a lot of the play, especially in the first half Toure being a menace.

Scott Quigley made one and scored one - a 35 yarder against a storm force wind after robbing the keeper who showed why he isn't an outfield player.

Maidenhead awful today, Devonshire has been lining up with a more regressive lineup each game so far, today was a flat 442 with two CBs and two CMs in the midfield, and two target men up top. No pace or much in the way of technical ability, Devonshire really needs to start Mensah and get over his fear of starting anyone who makes something happen in attack.

Another win for the whipping boys... we might achieve the 50 point mark at this rate

A great strike by Boldewijn but Alexander shouldn’t have shown him the inside. Notts County look more disorganised than us but more incisive than us.

That’s what you’re going to get with keeping keeping hold of quality players like Boldewijn etc...

Since reforming, we've topped the league thrice after three games in the Conference: 2014/15, 18/19, and now 19/20. We finished 9th and 15th previously I believe, but no-one remembers final positions when you're mid-table. Still very fine to set the pace in this way, and doesn't do us harm during any barren periods that may ensue.

Wrectum now can't leapfrog us on Tuesday thanks to their late, late defeat too, so if our traditional disallowed goal there is disallowed, thereby being allowed due to the logic of double-negatives, we'll be on cloud nine. We typically play them early on though, and they typically start with confidence. Very pleased tonight after winning in fairly ugly fashion.

Do any websites offer the Conference scores in good time, along with attendances? The National League website has decided against showing such fripperies when we all know the turnout on the terraces is more important than any poxy ol' scoreline.

We'll go all out against Halifax. If we score first and are not reffed out of it we'll batter them.

7 points out of 9, so much better than our 1/9 we achieved last season.

Poor quality game but what a lovely goal to win it. Probably the only bit of incisive play we managed all game.

7 points is a fantastic return, especially as we’ve faced both relegated sides and had two away games, but we will need to improve in the final third if we are to maintain this kind of form.

Shitting hell, that was fucking rubbish.

Ardley could sign van Dyke and Maguire and we’d still look a defensive shambles. Fans are crying out for managerial stability, but probably not a great idea with this bloke.

Sort it out guys, at this rate I might be forced to reconsider AFC Haliphoenix’s application.

Has the keeper got up yet after that trip by Grant, or is he still there rolling around.

Moronic stuff from Grant but ref could have given a yellow IMO.

Everyone down there is just focusing on the Proper League Table this year, even Brother Wrexham are getting in on the act. They couldn't even be arsed to get to their game on time.

Just got back. Only talking point has to be the red card.. from the away end it just looked like Grant has clipped Worgan's heels as he's running towards the edge of his box to distribute?*IF* it was that then surely just a yellow?
But, totally stupid from Grant to do that and give the ref a decision, and in the process totally ruining his good start to the season after we were all just starting to forget how hopeless he was last season

We were pretty poor up and until our goal.. but without Dover looking all that threatening. , Hughes also bottled it with a very early double sub and going 5 at the back after just 50-odd mins, we lost any sort of attacking threat with Harris off and just hopeful punts to Hooper.

Finally, incredibly annoying to lose points for the second time in a week in injury time.

Pleased to share the points at Sutton today, took a two goal lead early on, Sutton then got back into the game and pulled one back. They levelled early in second half but we rallied again and I think apoint each was fair. Still unbeaten, thanks to Sutton for their hospitality.

Unbeaten in three and three very different performances. We look like a team with a lot of new players and it’s going to be a few games before things settle. Aldershot and Hartlepool on the road next will tell us a bit more.

2 away trips to sides that just came down, grabbed a point after being behind both times, played well. Should've had more from the game against Pantomimehead last week 'n all. No bedwetting going on around here (yet)
