3 up now, Maidenhead have completely and utterly shat themselves.

We've totally collapsed. I shudder to think what was said at half time. All organisation and desire completely gone.

Football’s a funny old game.

3-0 down after 20 minutes, could easily have been more. And yet Notts now trying to hold the ball in the corner with more than 5 minutes left.

Our fitness is still a massive issue. We’ve not done too bad in the second half. Once we get match fit, we might at least be competitive this season.

We have completely run out of steam. Deserved win for Notts but we showed some character at least to avoid a landslide defeat.

Made that unnecessarily difficult for ourselves. Played some brilliant stuff in the first half and looked like a team from a much higher level, but there’s definitely a bit of a soft centre there.

No point having all of the play in the 2nd half if you play like we did in the 1st. Very poor and a lot of issues.

Should've been 2-0 down in the first half, turned into a romp in the end courtesy of Maidenhead shitting the bed early on and completely out of it on 50 minutes.

We've certainly harder games to come but you can only beat what's in front of you and that's three outta three.

Thank flip. Six points from 3 tricky looking games. Hopefully Maidenhead are still rubbish on Monday.

Cracking second half from us. Midfield were different class. We're looking canny at the minute but we can definitely do better. Hopefully more to come, signs are really good.

Great win.

6 points from Borehamwood home, Solihoof away and Yeovil away is good going. 3 teams who should be Right Up There™ this season.

Did they appoint Paul Cox in the summer? Any throw in their own half launched into the box. We did well to deal with the aerial bombardment from the Yeovil Air Force.

Was fuming when we did that, completely lost our heads. But then our defensive midfielder without a league goal in two years randomly pops up in the box in the 94th min, weird.

Charlie Lee was doing that all last season as well.

Stockport County.
Didn't watch our game but going off Twitter we didn't play that well but had a burst 2nd half to get the win against a pretty poor Dover side.

Someone who watched it may put me right on that though.

Was under the impression your lot were one of the few footballing sides in the division based on how you were at the Racecourse last season.

Notts County-Making life difficult for ourselves since 1862.

6 points from 3 but fucking ell, I doubt very much we’ve played anyone who’ll trouble the top half of the table. (No disrespect etc etc)

Didn't watch but our starting 11 was the weakest since promotion back up, The most inexperienced too, included a 17yo making his debut
still 3 points out of 9 is 3 more than everyone was expecting :)

Should have been out of sight but made hard work of it after Barnet pulled one back on the stroke of HT. Still, I’ll take two home wins and 7 goals in a week. Tough test on the plastic at Sutton on Tuesday

Ardley is too defensive.
Too conservative doesn't take risks.
Doesn't exploit our attacking options.
Struggles against lesser sides
Blah blah blah

True we've had an easy start on paper, but the last two games we've scored 7 played some great stuff and could have scored a lot more on another day creating plenty of chances.

Next game will tell us a lot more than the last 3 but bar that late concession at Dover happy with the start.

To be fair, you missed the ‘in away games’ from the end of those criticisms. We’ve been fantastic at home for ages.

Congrats to Stockport today , who sort of stuttered to a 3-0 defeat of Dover, but we're not here to complete with the big team like Stockport and Nottingham , already hit hard by injuries 3 of our 5 defenders out already with long term injuries, but with 3 points out o our first three tough games , is momentous , would have taken that any season , but remember our target is 4th from bottom

almost certainly
we aren't going to score any goals- Azeez & Rigg who can't score & some youngsters
4 home games in the 6 - Aldershot, Eastleigh, Altrincham, Woking - need to win 2 or 3 of them

Wealdstone and Dagenham are both ineffective in different ways from the looks of things. Dagenham just look very disjointed and offer no service to McCallum while Wealdstone are trying to play football but their final pass is always awry.

We’re completely toothless. The left side is inefficient and the right side can’t play the final pass. Hopefully better in the second half.

Yeah beating two average teams at home but losing to a crap side away is a microcosm of last season.

Not sure what Sutton are yet, but hopefully with their 100% record we’ll have our ‘these are good so we’d better turn up’ heads on.

Damn! And I also missed tippy tappy sideways passing , others call it attractive possession based football on the deck. But to be fair Notts fans aren't used to that.

Must improve when taking the p[$$ out of some Notts fans
