Two goals for big Jordan White today, I bet there's a few fans who wouldn't mind him back now..

Sounds like we are very toothless up front. Desperately need a forward or two signed.

We've got to get a striker in or at least start attacking sides, we are far too defensive.

Macc v Bromley wasn't a classic and won't live particularly long in the memory. Two well organised teams with good defences but both lacking that spark to create a winner. 0-0 was a fair reflection on the game.

A draw as predicted, pitch problems were delt with , although it was a very heavy surface .Eastleigh look a very good side with a lot of depth,

Some of our fans were an absolute disgrace today .a couple of geared up kids who were giving it to the singing Eastleigh family end from about 5 meters and to top it off started to sing songs at a disabled boy and his family as they were exiting the ground. A very sad end to an other wise great game.

Let's not make a big deal out of what was a very small incident caused by 2/3 people out of 130 morally right people.

As for the game would have taken a point before hand as Eastleigh have some over paid ex league rejects who will cause a few upsets. Ref evened up the soft pen first half with a soft pen second half.

7 points from 9 on what is a fairly difficult start on paper. Tuesday home to Gravesend is another test.

We were absolutely dreadful. Sutton came to bully and frustrate us, playing narrow and swamping midfield, and we had no answer. Strange, as they are the kind of side we dealt with quite comfortably last season under Mellon.

Difficult to know what to make of our first three performances: we have had average, sublime and then ridiculous today.

"The most shambolic performance I have ever seen from a Guiseley team. They were totally outclassed by Aldershot. If this is the "standard" to which we are able to perform with this team, we don't stand a prayer.
Wish I'd stayed at home. I was mis sold a ticket for a football match!"

Forgot to add Eastleigh should be thrown out for having a pitch not fit for purpose. Left back position first half for us ball does not bounce, makes Maidstone and Suttons pitch playable. 10 minute delay to game unacceptable.

100% glad I didn't talk myself into a weekend in the north east this weekend.

The Nicholson out bandwagon is rolling already. Think 3 games is a record.

For what it's worth, it's the most shambolic performance I've seen from the top six tiers in English football. I genuinely believe 6-0 flattered Guiseley. I'm genuinely not exagerating either, Aldershot were very good at every level and most teams would have lost to them.... but look at the fourth goal for example, it's just absolutely basics gone fucked up.

I have no doubt Guiseley are a better side than I saw though.

slaphead I remember you saying you did some groundsman stuff for Aldershot. By any chance where you in a blue polo and sunglasses??

Our comentary team said it could have easily finished into double figures! Was the fourth goal the stupid back heel from East? Wesolowski usually plays in front of the back four but he got injured against Ebbsfleet.
We have not replaced Simon Walton who did so much work at the back and was a leader/organiser back there. That has to be a priority as East is not that man.

About as comfortable 1-0 win as they come, against a powder puff Wrexham, whose main outlet seem to be arguing against the lino's decisions, expected more from them, but early days yet, we keep a second clean sheet out from our three games, and with a bit of fortune, could have been sharing top spot with the shots..... next up is A1 trip to Halifax Tuesday night, another long evening trip, 139 very quiet Wrexham fans some who let themselves down , by being abusive to some of our female staff, So undefeated against Wrexham in the 7 games since our return to the conference

Decent game today. First off, very impressed with Maidstone, both on and off the pitch, that's one of the best away followings I've seen at Brisbane Road, they did not stop singing for 89 minutes (when our second went in), and are a credit to their club. On the pitch, they fully deserved a draw in my opinion, no more than that - the game was very even.

We just had that little bit of quality to finish our chances, great to win without playing our best. Maidstone should be comfortably mid-table on that showing, if Orient beat Bromley on Tuesday night I'm going to start looking at trains to Morecambe for next year.

The fifth was East. He also wasn't a defnesive mid, when you were 4-1-4-1 he was regularly infront of the cms... not a way to play dm I've seen before. Frankly as the game went on I was very surprised he wasn't taken off, actually, I was surprised he wasn't hooked at half time. Goal 4 (I say it now I think that was awful Maxted handling, maybe it's goal 3), Williams went for the clear, missed the ball, got caught between his legs and fell for a Shots player... I agree it could have been double figures, I genuinely can not overstate the gulf between the teams and part of that was Aldershot being very fluid, pressing superbly, moving the ball excellently and generally playin above Conference level - just so happens they played a Guiseley team who were abysmal. But I also in no way think that was a fair reflection of what Guiseley are about.

Chester we will give you 100k if you take alabi back

Utter pants today when he came on wasn't he. Wasn't overley impressed with McEvely either. Other than that i don't think it was a particularly bad performance from Tranmere. Sutton were very good at what they do, good 3 points for them.

On a positive note, we can never be worse :D

Maidstone were a bit unlucky, they worked hard and had a good game plan but lacked a cutting edge in front of goal. If Joe Pigott had scored that 1v1 he had in the first half - Different game.

We scored when we was on top and Maidstone ran out of steam for a bit, we had that extra bit of quality to take our chances on top and win the game.

The second goal came after Maidstone threw the kitchen sink at us committing all but two players forward.

We're looking better game by game, defence still needs alot of work and its obvious Joe Widdowson is our weak link. Our passing game on our own ground is a slow work in progress.

Expecting Steve Davis to rotate the squad a bit with all these games coming thick and fast. Another plastic pitch up next at Bromley, good to get them out the way now..........

How was Jake Caprice today? I thought despite the MOTM he was really a weak link defensively on Tuesday. I think six points v Solihull and Maidstone is a solid return, would have taken 7 from them two plus Bromley on Tuesday. If we can get ten points from Bromley, Woking, Eastleigh, Maidenhead and Guiseley I would take that.

Men against boys today, Guiseley were very poor and could be a long old season for them.
Having said that, we were very good. Not getting carried away, as we have had a pretty easy start to the season, but if we can keep this up and keep players fit, we'll be there or thereabouts come May.

Great win today and seemed the players took Waddocks advice on board about being more ruthless in the final third. We have had an excellent start but i'm taking it one game at a time. I still think the title will be between Dagenham and Tranmere

Thought he did alot better today defensively, but he didn't come up against an outstanding opponent. Still put in a really good cross second half which Bonne should've put away.

Fylde were by far the better side. Glad to have got the point.

Yeah I was frustrated after yesterday joe. We should of picked up 3 points. We've lead in all 3 games but our inability to keep the ball out of the net is costing us at the minute. Onto Tuesday and hopefully pick up our first 3 points

Disappointing that the strategy Lincoln/Barrow/FGR employed against us still works after a pre season. Need hit the ground running against these organised but unspectacular sides, too slow out of the blocks then trying to claw it back. Would like to see video of our phantom goal.

Guiseley must be cursing Sutton as we'll surely have a backlash on Tuesday.

We missed Dave Winfield at the back big time, but in that first half you looked like scoring at every opportunity. Glad we were only one behind!!

Tightened up at the back second half, and didn't give you as many opportunities. Would have taken the draw before the game.

Onto Dagenham and probably our first loss in 27 league games.
