An embarrassing 702. Swelled by around 500 Halifax, no doubt, what with their brilliant away support.

We won’t. The Evil will still win it. Brill has been excellent this season, mind. He’s superb for a short, fat lad.

Everyone*. We’ve been shit since November. Still, that’s three away wins on the bounce in the league. We must be doing something right.

*Well, not everyone. Aldershot for starters. Conference South should be fun.

Its funny the last four years people have commented how this league is weaker every season and they are not impressed with the champions yet 3 of the last 6 teams promoted are in the playoffs or promotion places in the league above . We were beating teams 3,4 or 5 nil last season pinning them in their own half for long periods yet they would come on here saying ' they aint that good' or ' it was a better division in 2003' you can only beat the team you are playing....

The consensus at tranmere is we wanna see the o's and wrexham up and if either mess up then solihull ..... personal opinion is i think eastleigh may sneak up in the playoffs....

For a side 3-0 up, Barrow's fans weren't half quiet. Awful performance from ourselves, I'm not even confident we'll finish in the top 7 the way it's going. We're desperate for a Walker replacement and without Pearson, our defence is a shambles.
"Deflection" - when trounced, comment on how "quiet" the opposition fans were.

Unsurprisingly a club in such a mess as ours has a poor attendance. Never understood why that’s always such a stick to beat a club with.
Because there's "poor" and then there's "fucking hell that's REALLY poor". :fl:

Even in our darkest days in the Unibond First Division North we didn't have a gate as low as that for a league match.

We put 5 past you, which in my opinion shows that there ain't much difference between the two divisions

To be fair we sounded a bit unlucky with a couple of the goals. At least we're turning up to games and not chucking the towel in when it's not going our way. There's progress but defensively we're not up to the mark yet.

It's good to see us battling back from being behind but the amount of goals we've let in these past few games is a bit concerning.

And who ordered a Havant win last night, arse nipping time all round for those just above the bottom four.

You did mate, but as a one off anyone can do that to anyone, its consistency that matters . No point putting 5 past us and 6 past the bad winners then losing at guiseley and woking. Believe me 10 one nil wins are better the one ten nil win.

We were shocking that day, it looked like we had been on the lash the night before... worst performance of the year, but fair play you did put 5 past us

The general standard is vastly different - L2 far higher quality than NL imo.

That's not to say the better NL teams couldn't compete in L2, but in general terms. I would say that the bottom half of the NL is vastly inferior to the bottom half of L2 for example.

I can't imagine the overall standard of either division changes much from season to season.

In my experience, in the lower leagues you tend to find in certain seasons there really are one or two outstanding sides. However, in the majority of seasons, it tends to be far more evenly balanced. That's arguably the same for all divisions save for the PL.

And that’s great for you - you have a larger town in which to attract fans from so would be expected. But ultimately, what difference does it make to you? Because currently all you’re doing is using it as a drink to beat a club with who are staring relegation and ultimately, full closure, in the face.

What you’re not understanding is just how bad of a state our entire club is in at the moment. We have never been a hugely well supported club for many reasons. Add that to what is happening with us at he moment then it’s obvious that we’ll have poor crowds on a dismal Tuesday night.

What is more confusing is the importance fans of larger clubs place on support size. Who cares, really?

You are not going down, simply because if you don’t win another game, none of the teams below are good enough to catch you.

Is this a consensus of 1?

As for quality, L2 is a lot higher. We massively underachieved last season in our points tally and have considerably strengthened our squad this season.

Macc and FGR both strengthened and struggled in their first years whilst Grimsby have been at the low echelons each season too.

They have 90,000 games in hand. They're not going down at all. There's blatantly only one winner of this year's award:

It’s usually Dagenham tbh.

Sometimes it’s the end and they have a team of kids, definitely going out of business in the next 15 minutes etc. Then the following week they’ve won a few and there’s talk of the playoffs.

Must be a London thing to be such a bunch of knicker wetters, but BarnetWood are clear winners this year.

To be fair, we had a great run around Xmas and really weren’t that far off.

And our team at the start of the season was shit until our new owners arrived.

Enjoy 10th

Again, see your club reach the levels that we’re currently at and then you’ll understand. Quite disappointed at the attitudes shown towards a club that’s quite clearly going through awful times.

They love it on here urban. Love knocking a team when they're in trouble. I for one hope you get through this rough patch and I'm sure you will

We did. Last season. And we were in even bigger shit than you off the field. We almost went bust and we were very close indeed. You have my sympathy if you have problems but the point is, the one everybody is making is that you won't go down.

What I think one or two people easily forget when it comes to the Barnet situation, is that they were booted out of their home Underhill by possibly the worst council in the whole of London - more interested in listening to those local residents who didn't like the noise football brought, as opposed to the income to area it would bring.

They've been shafted to a ground outside of their London Borough, whilst the Hive is a smart new ground - Barnet FC don't have a local connection to it.

You have to imagine what it would be like to be shafted from your spiritual home by your own local council, who didn't even back you when you needed them the most.

All valid points but that's besides the issue, they won't get relegated that's what people are trying to say. They have almost 750 games in hand, they have some quality in that squad, there are easily 4 worse teams if not 10 or 11 in this division. They may have a dodgy summer ahead and I hope it works out for them but they'll still be in this league!

That’s a big issue which is now more of an undercurrent to everything else. There is so much wrong with the club as a whole and none of it is realistically fixable. We can’t move back to Barnet, we can’t attract fans where we are. The club is dying.

I mean, no. It’s only you and one other saying that. Others are slating the crowds whilst ignoring the reasons, some others are just pointing out how ‘extreme’ we perceive our outlook to be. But regardless, you do not watch us week in week out, you haven’t got the knowledge of the players, what’s going on behind the scenes or the context.

Okay you're right, you're obviously going down, there is certainly not 4 teams in much worse league situations and there's not a single team currently around the top 7 who probably won't be allowed to compete here next year. So nailed on mate. Relegation is a total certainty.

Chief rocka, the weather was horrendous. Never seen anything like it at a football match. Completely ruined the game.

Orient for sure. Wrecsam divide opinion, but think most Rovers fans, myself included enjoy the games and atmosphere against our Welsh neighbours and would like to see them back in the FL. After that, anybody but Salford.
