Hopefully we turn up and take advantage though. Safe trip if you're coming up, i'm looking forward to the return leg already
I'd love to be there - used to tour to the Pomegranate back in the day, and always liked the town. Performances when there was bell-ringing practice in the church next door were a bit of a challenge, mind you. Unfortunately, my faithful Indian companion Tonto (aka my lad) is now a family man, so our days of jumping in the car/on the train to away games are over.

I'm team Wealdstone me.

Barnet have always been a bit of a bogey team for us going back to even the Football League days. I remember we were going for automatic promotion in L2 with Hereford in the 07/08 season, it was right near the end of the season. Not only did Barnet beat us at Underhill with Jason Puncheon ripping us apart, their announcer decided mid second half to just announce that Hereford were winning their game 2-0 or whatever.

Annoying, bumble bee twats.

The Stones lads on here know they have my full support.

Big blow for us ahead of tomorrow - Whitfield ruled out for the next few months.

With Walker and Newby out on loan that leaves us with only one winger.

I wouldn't want to see Grimes pushed out, he deserves to be playing ahead of Croll, he's only had one bad game so far vs Woking and Croll's only just stepped in the door. Plus we don't know if it is a CB we're signing. Apart from that I probably agree with the team, maybe Kellerman for Weston if Curtis isn't ready to start yet.

Amusingly, I've got free tickets for this game because Nathan Tyson belted a shot which hit my 4 year old lad on the side of his head in pre-season so I'm bringing the fam. He also gave him a signed shirt signed by the squad, which was nice of him. Top bloke.
I completely forgot that Grimes was only suspended and not part of our Injured XI

Yeah Grimes plays, either Kerr or Croll to drop out that XI

One good thing, we are looking at another 5k plus crowd tomorrow, so despite the poor run of form, the fans aren't drifting away.

Genuinely surprised Barnet haven’t sold out the away end by yet, heard it was 550+ tickets sold earlier on today. Given it’s not much further for fans to travel from Barnet to Ruislip than it is from Barnet to Canons Park, is Covid causing that much of a concern?

Agree. We should sell out. Always take at least 1,000 to Stevenage not sure why.

I think we have on tickets sold. Looking at the map thing, there’s 3/400 left in each of the Pavis and the Kop. That’s about 11,000 on its own, minus a bit for the netting at the front of the Kop and the Covid bits behind the dugouts, plus another 1,000 or so in the Family Stand and whatever Solihull bring. Could break 12k, 13k probably pushing it.

From what I remember, we were 4 points behind Hereford (who were in the 3rd and final automatic spot) with one in hand. Somebody had asked your announcer to keep away fans updated with the score, it was supposed to be a kind gesture, but with us struggling against our bogey side, the announcement that Hereford were romping to victory at Brentford was taken by some as rubbing our noses in it. .

Can’t quite put my finger on it either, I know it means more from our side but you’ve always taken 800+ to Boreham Wood before for example.

With this weekend being international break, tomorrow could do without any dickheads turning up for this one.

i guess so, they all now need to turn up. which is why i dont think we have heard anything official.
itd be awful saying we broke the record only for some not to turn up and drop below it.

As others have said, Chavs away we always take 1,000-1200, Boreham Wood away over Xmas with transport issues, we always take 800-1000, so i am surprised with the history between the 2 clubs, + (not including last season lock down) not played each other for over 30 years, we haven't already sold out. I do expect a few to go on the day, and the problem could be with Wealdstone allowing home fans to pay on the gate, with away fans only with tickets bought up to 3pm. Just hope for a good crowd, good banter and trouble free.

I don’t think our ticketing is at fault this time, if you were desperate to get a ticket then Barnet fans have had a couple of weeks and as it turns out could have bought online on the day.

Maidenhead away, could be a high scoring affair with both teams unable to defend. News this morning that Josh Walker is now out for quite some time hence why we signed Morais, always going to happen with Walker wasn’t it at least we got two months out of him. We have a 23 man squad currently 3 out on loan, 6 injured and 1 suspended.

I think it will be 3-2 Maidenhead.
I'll take that thanks.
I was thinking the same score but in your favour.
At least it should be an exciting game.

With TK being present, wonder which set of fans will abuse him more.

There’s been lots of rumours of exactly that regarding dickheads turning up.

Apparently Solihull have flogged over 600 tickets for today. Good job I was sitting down when I read that…

Why don't you make it a fiver for us - we are so much more deprived and poorer than Solihull and it would break the attendance record and and never to be broken in future...until Wednesday get relegated down here...

Do they get that at home? What is it like an hour away?

Managed to get some cheap train tickets for Notts in a couple of weeks so missing Maidenhead today, downfall is the tickets only get us in an hour before kick off.

No man should be under the pressure Burchnall is today. World leaders don't get this sort of scrutiny on them.

Feel for Ian today. Like turning up at a family party with your new girlfriend, her ex is there as he's a "Family friend" who's dad is great mates with your girlfriend's Dad and has been for years.

Do these 600 Solihull fans have it in them to get a "Only here to see the Ardley" chant out?

Sadly not, most likely.
