as if we've let them equalise this before half time, 2-0 up . I don't think we're that good tbh, concede shakey goals, mentally weak still
I said after the 3 opening wins I don't think we'd played particularly well to get any of them.

This is exactly why we won't be more than midtable this season. Everyone can see we are short at the back Wild hasn't sorted it. We can't keep clean sheets
Oh fuck off! Captain Hindsight now promoted to Major Weapon. :ds:

I said the same mate. We won but played meh as fuck. Get at us and the old frailties from 65 successive relegations come back

Think Waterfall was at fault for the first but he more than made up for it with that header. I think Wrexham’s first was a foul, look OTT and most teams would feel aggrieved. Our first was a really class goal. Even game though.

You could tell even our commentators were surprised he wasn't blown up for a foul.

Red Passion is in full meltdown, apparently we are useless and need to bring back half of last seasons team. You just know its the same people who have predicted big wins in every game.

Man, I hate people. Thick tw*ts

I now understand what Chief meant when he said our defence was fucking shite after witnessing that first half stoppage time shambles

They need a rocket, we should have been 4 or 5 clear by that point!

Your defence and attack have real quality but yeah you’re losing it in midfield. Huge gaps. You’re definitely due another goal though, depends if we can get another or not.

Frailties are an issue but we aren't clinical enough. Khan took the ball round the goalkeeper and put it in the side netting at 2-0 up, would've been game over.

Don't worry lads its Harry Kewell's Barnet. You've got too much quality going forward to not score a few more.

Save the winner for the last minute and you can justify a pitch invasion!

Our midfield was the weakest part of the side before Davies got injured. No idea why hes gone with Redmond today.

Weve been screwed over by the tranfer window again. Didn't have time to get the last few deals for some midfielders over the line.

Sounds like our forum- that plank above is typical. You should see what he puts on the home forum, he's embarrassing. :ffs:

I know what you're saying but I can kinda forgive that. to an extent This is a shit league after all, we're not gonna finish every chance, I mean he should have scored it sounded like (I'm listening) but it happens, but what I can't forgive is not defending properly. Teams that win this league win on a proper defence and proper defence doesn't require skill and budgets, it just requires some mental strength and desire to not concede. Letting Barnet put you under the cosh for 5 minutes solid without just sorting it out and seeing the half out is unforgivable

This is a very weird league. Us and Chesterfield sound very similar.

I agree we give sides far too much space. I think we are missing Hollis who was our main leader back there when our form turned last season.

This happened in small periods against Woking we left huge gaps in a no existent midfield but Woking didn't have the quality to take advantage. Grimsby do, Even if we had Davies tonight I don't think it would of made much of a difference. We would of been more creative yes but we have no physical presence in the midfield and nobody who can win a ball. Hopefully we can pick a few points up against the top sides to keep in touch and address it by splashing shit loads in January

5 penalties we’ve given away this season. Clubs in absolute ruins. Even proven league experienced defenders turn into plumbers when they play for us.

Fair play to Maidenhead for getting 2 players sent off. Nasty dose of Covid incoming for Saturday?
