So we're supposedly 'The Lions' but on Saturday we were:

I am looking forward to my annual fish supper at Harry Ramsden's. I don't think it will be pretty on a bobbly pitch, but we will win narrowly.

Bobbly pitch :eyes:
It's like a bowling green at the moment

I'd take a win of any kind at Guiseley.

Must win. Must improve general performance. Mostly because I can't currently go on RedPassion because of the wall of froth spilling out of it.
You could camp out on our forum and wind us up like at least one of your lot has taken to! He's got over 1,000 posts on the Cowsheds now...

Is this one of the THINGS GUISELEY HAVE DONE?

All I can see is goals in our home match as over 20 goals already involving both teams games. 3-2 to us will do.

That's what I've got it down as. Can't see us winning, but you never know I guess. Would gladly take a draw now.

Halifax away. They haven't scored yet, so in true Dover fashion we'll probably lose 3-0
By some logic we have to score eventually. That said i am really not sure what to expect tonight. The two games i've witnessed so far we have very much looked like a conference North outfit still, albeit one with a League One goalie as a ringer in nets. Against Barrow we were by all accounts very fortunate to go in 0-0 at HT. Even by the law of Hyde we must get three points eventually though.

Take a 2 mile detour (if in the car) and go to Murgatroyds at Yeadon instead, knocks the socks off The Whaler (formerly Ramsdens).

We're leaky at the minute so I think a draw is a very strong possibility.

I'll take that now! We're good going forward, but defensively pretty suspect, especially now Winfield is out until Christmas. Can see us bringing somebody in on loan, as Magri will also miss maybe 4 or 5 games (2 of which are this month) through international duty.

I'm going to either the Wrexham vs Gateshead or Nantwich vs Altrincham game tonight.

If I end up going to Wrexham, where is good to park my car?

Unbeaten so far but we played terribly on both plastic pitches last season, and Sutton look to be a decent side.

Thanks for the help, but think I'm going to Nantwich now. Wrexham are charging £20 tonight, can't justify paying that to watch Conference football.
Conference National football is same as League 2, you arrogant twat. :bdick:

There is a huge difference between the Conference and League 2. For a start, there are no part time teams in the Football League.

Wise move, if Wrexham are as dull as they were on Saturday.

There clearly is not- how many promoted teams have come straight back down? Not one. How many have achieved further promotions? Quite a few, often in their first season. :bdick:

There is a difference. From what I've seen so far, L2 teams are more clinical and pass the ball a bit better. I haven't seen the top teams yet though, might not be much difference there. Outside of them, I'm sure Orient are at least L1 standard.

Conference is L1 standard mate, given there is no difference between Conference and L2 and given Wimbledon, 15th; Bristol Rovers, 10th; Oxford 8th; Northampton, 16th. Does that look like league placements of two divisions with a gap?
