So I didn't go to the game as I kept my promise and was not in the area. Feel a bit for B2TF as this was a massive game for him and his team lost.

Heard Holohan did well?

Crap game. Big difference when Summerfield came on, he's a very welcome return ahead of the play-offs.

That Orient-Solihull game on Monday is MEGA.
you know what, terrible shame about the late Salford goal. As it stood at 90 mins I would have been happy to draw on monday, effectively crowning Orient as Champions and almost securing a top three for us, now its still nervy for all of the top 4, but all we can do know is help Salford win the league, which would be not ideal, but as someone said on another post, they are going to go up sooner rather than later, this may be our only chance.

Been an unbelievable turn around for Dover. Every credit. After we played dover at our place I genuinely thought they were the worst side we'd played since being in this division and I would of put my house on them being relegated.

Holohan looks very worthy of a contract, especially since it looks like Hawkes days are numbered and say it quietly but Featherstone was immense, MOM easily.

Oh fuck, that's the last thing we need. He always does this, turns into Pirlo for the last 5 games, gets a new deal and back to his old self again.

I'm not one of fans who has an agenda with him, but time to go.

Just about deserved that - With quite a few hairy moments along the way, Harrogate weren't quite clinical enough in front of goal.

We looked very, very nervy in the second half defensively - We cause enough problems in an attcking sense and I wish that second goal could've come a bit quicker because we had as many chances as Harrogate did second half to get it, but we had to dig deep at times with alot of last ditch defending.

I can't see Solihull winning it now, because they need both us and Salford to lose all our remaining games and/or drop points, which isn't going to happen. However, as mentioned - they still need to secure a top 3 finish at least and they're not quite out of it yet, but I can't see them winning the league now.

to be fair we only need to beat you and Dagenham and hope you draw your last game or we win 8-0 vs DR; and hope that Salford drop points, sorry to be a pedant as only a fool would put money on it. Dont know what I want, good luck winning the league, but from our perspective, best case (realistic) scenario, we need to beat two of the leagues top teams to go up... so... fingers crossed but a BIG ask.

Eastleigh won’t win the play offs based on that performance, we could have easily scored 3 or 4 more had it not been for poor finishing and their keeper having a blinder. Taylor said we will play our reserves at Braintree Monday so place your bets on them now.

Piss poor game between us and barnet. We were pretty terrible, again. Absolute wonder goal was the difference. We're guaranteed a home leg though in the play offs which is good news. I cant see us finishing higher than Wrexham now so should we win our first playoff game, I think we'll get spanked at Salford in the second game. I pray solihull finish above Salford. Cant see it now though

The AGM Cup race is still on, think 21st place has a good chance of still being here next year.

If you want a good omen, we played Macclesfield on the final day last year as they partied at the season's end. In 2016, we played Bristol Rovers in League two when they grabbed automatic promotion on the final day against us.

Just got back from Hartlepool's Cup Final. Not even a cock hair between the 2 sides really. The Monkey Hangers couldn't have complained if it'd gone our way. Our keeper hasn't had a save to make in 2nd half, apart from the one that went past him.:ds:

I left a really nasty fart in the club house for Soup Ladle, next time he's in. :fart:

that could be very unfortunate for Orient - if Braintree win against your reserves on Monday they could be within reach of the AGM cup place and have something to play for on the last day - which Orient really don't need/want

Aw bless, I hope you enjoyed your big day out, 170 fans for a trip less than 2 hours up the road is quite a lot, you should be impressed.

First half was fair cop, second Halifax were shite, spin it how you like, Rodders looked like typical Rodders, shows tiny glimpses that there is a footballer in him then spends the rest of the game thumping round like a elephant with two left feet.

It's not even about the brotherhood for me now. I want Orient to go up as I think we have at least a slight chance against Solihull or Salford, but there's no way we're beating a Justin Edinburgh side. Absolutely no chance.

Yep, we need them to win the league as in the playoffs we’d be Edinburgh’d out of it for sure.

You can spin it how you like too, you had ONE shot second half against a team you say was shite. Do the math.

Oh and 170 for a dead rubber in a Geordie shithole, damn right I'm impressed.:brill:

We've got some more money tied up in the Green to Salford deal if they get promoted so that's clouding my better judgement ever so slightly...

On that note, I can't even imagine what sort of obscene bonuses the Evil's players are on to get promotion from here on. Sickening it would be.
