Now that Barnet have been relegated and the pressure is off, they're getting some good results. Their fans will be asking why they haven't shown the same application all season and rightly so in my opinion. Terrible shame.

I think they're being Chipmunxed out of it as research shows that when he doesn't do his live scores, Orient never win.

McCallum didn't even start for Eastleigh. Yet another team who going up would RUIN. All desperate to avoid the playoffs at all costs. They even got someone sent off early on just to ensure.

Looks like Barnet are slowly clawing themselves to safety after being as good as relegated a couple of weeks back.

Shame the useless Still didn’t bugger off earlier as Currie really seems to have transformed us into a decent side.

If we can start scoring a few goals, we could easily finish in the top half. That would be a good turnaround and would see us go into the summer in a positive mindset ahead of a proper promotion push next term.

No surprise to me. I said it would be a score draw. We're not a great side. We've got a few tricky players but they never score goals. Without Danny Rowe we'd be a mid table team. Need to bring some better players in for next season and not other teams cast offs

Not far off chief
You twats.

Also, what the fuck are Orient doing? Us and Salford are gifting the Evil the title on a plate. It's as if they've bought it off us it's that bizarre. All the sides in the play offs are shite, if any other side can break the top 7 they'll have a great chance.

Deserved the win tonight. Sat back too much in the first half, but came out and dominated the second half for long periods. Leyton Orient were as interested in fighting as playing football, both the players and the fans, with it all kicking off in only the second minute after Sam Wood was shoved in the chest right in front of the linesman for no reason whatsoever. Later on the fans threw objects onto the pitch at Porter as he was being substituted. They brought the ugly side of football to Hayes Lane tonight.

That was the National League equivalent of Spurs’s meltdown at Chelsea a few years back!!
Talk about shooting yourselves in the foot.
We were crap and they were cruising going in at half time 1-0 up.
Refs had a mare sending your lad off for our penalty but after that you just started reacting to everything.
We basically Scott Brown’d you out of the game.
Porter should have gone, disguisting challenge and I’m not making excuses for that. Refs had a shocker with that!
Your fans rushing the barrier lobbing coins as he’s subbed, then trying to get into the dug out to get to him.
Make it worse your assistant joined in and got him self sent off.

Saying all that our second was a cracking cross and header and we played some cracking stuff in that second half albeit against 10 men.
Entertaining night from our end.

From a title perspective you’ve got to keep your head, we’re not saints in what transpired tonight, far from it but you’ve completely imploded out there.

Missed oppotunity, big time.

Played well I thought first half and got a deserved lead, we controlled much of the game.

Second half, as well as Marvin Ekpiteta has done for us he doesn't need to deny Porter when through on goal one v one with Brill by shoving him over in the box - Not 60 seconds into the second half, some are saying it was a dive but the reality was he didn't need to do what he did.

1-1 and we have to play the whole second half with ten men, we gave it a go and forced a number of half chances but we didn't get the breaks or really do enough. Bromley had a few chances to kill it off as well, it became one game too far for us.

The only gripe I have was that the very weak official should've sent off George Porter for his scissor challenge on Koroma, because he didn't it escalated into rather unsavory scenes on and off the pitch. I get why Porter did it as he was badly mugged off by Koroma in the previous game, but he nearly let his side down for the millionth time. The fact that Neil Smith took him off instantly told you all you needed to know.

Fair assessment my friend, still think there was no need for our defender to do what he did so quickly after the restart. For me thats cost us the game, should've just let Porter through.

Had it stayed 11 v 11 we'd have got something from the game I feel.

We have plenty of knuckle draggers in our fan base with the balls to do those sort of things, I've seen it happen many times before, not nice to see because it only screws us over going forward with regards to police and ticketing.

Could've been avoided though if the ref hadn't been so weak.

You make a good point mate.
He’s made the ref make a decision and even though Porter was through I didn’t think his headed touch was great, it wasn’t coming down and your keeper was in a good place. There was contact but he’s made the most of it tbh.

11 v 11 wasn’t a contest and even after the red I thought if you’d have kept your heads you may of got something out of the game.

As for your comments regarding the tackle on Koroma I totally agree he’s done that for revenge. He absolutely knew what he was doing. Inexcusable

Salford looks to have, on paper at least, a straight forward run-in. Orient have a more difficult looking one.

It’s all down to the refs now over the next few weeks.

It's still very much in Orient's hands - win their game in hand and they are 4 clear with 5 games to play.

However, nerves will play a key role with potentially three sides still in the hunt. I would expect slip ups from Orient, Salford and Solihull as the finish line gets closer.

Unlike last night they’re not even going have to try hard to ref us out of it.
