Us and Aldershot both look like big relegation candidates here. Weirdly enough, I think an Aldershot win will do us less harm than a draw as we'll no doubt rid ourselves of Hughes if we lose.

I'm hearing they wanted the game abandoned

Our Gus Mafuta was going mad as were your players - managers and the nobhead ref here today and all

Can't be arsed with the 2nd half tbh.

Thanks for the info

It gets better. They waited until the 2nd half had kicked off before telling us we now HAVE to change ends. A bizarre sight.

This ref is a fucking joke, now a fan is on the pitch trying to chin him

The Vic has been toxic since we've been down here but this is something else.

Gonna get a massive fine here

I’ve just seen the most blatant penalty not given in my life, unreal, Hignett and Donaldson both sent off for protesting

We have a real toxic element in our fan base albeit small, the racism, the trying to get at the ref during the game, throwing punches at Dover players going down the tunnel, what’s makes it worse is our own fans trying to defend these actions.

I’m utterly ashamed to follow Pools tonight, the result turned out to be irrelevant.

Wow, what a finish. We won 1-0 after having to play the 11 (I think) minutes of injury time with Luke Wilkinson (who scored our goal) in goal and down to 10 men after our keeper went off injured and no subs left. Football. Bloody hell.

Mind you that's 5 wins in a row.

Our board are gonna be run out of town, and they probably deserve to be.

They'll make a change this week, not a chance we get to a home game next Saturday with Hughes still in charge. Fans are after blood now.

Much needed win did us. Some very suspect defending from both teams though. Game could have gone either way in all honesty

Biggest win for Sutton since February 2018, and our first home win since March. Good to see Jarvis get a couple and Tommy Wright getting in the goals
