4th game in 8 days will cost us big time today. Can’t see anything but an away win, shame with it possibly being our last ever home game.

Eastleigh the latest side to say "your not winning the league against us." Haven't heard anyone trying to stop Tranmere catching us.

Thankfully I'm sure B2TF will have personally spoken to the Halifax squad to reiterate their requirement to uphold the reputation of the game and put in a thoroughly professional performance later this afternoon.

EVERYBODY raises their game against us because we're MASSIVE. It just goes without saying.

I'm getting end of season excitement/nerves again. Playoffs most likely, but who doesn't enjoy a big home playoff semi?!

Unfortunately B2TF sees us as tinpotters , I suspect a brotherhood roll over at the Shay today

Anxious about today. Still in the talking...just!! All or bust now.
Hoping the Trophy run impact on the small squad has now past and come 5pm we’re really in the conversation.

Don't need to, new boss will settle for nothing less. I fancy us to get revenge for the 2 beatings we've had off the Trannies this season. :bdick:

That's not how the Brotherhood works. The clubs in the Brotherhood bring out the best in each other. :bdick:

Any Tranmere got an idea on the numbers you're taking? We're all abuzz with rumours that more than minus seven away fans will turn up today, for once.

More than you normally get, but probably less than you're hoping for. Between 500 and 1,000 I'd guess, what with a home playoff leg being guaranteed and the title all but gone.

A beautiful day outside for the first/second Saturday this year, and a good town to visit on the sauce if you fancy building up the anticipation of playoffs. Fans on our forum are already commenting on SWA they've seen in town, like children feeling the presents underneath the tree except we're excited to see away fans.

Going to see Michael McIntyre with the gf, so missing this one.

Bloody hell, that puts football into perspective. Sorry to hear.

The disgraceful Sam Allison is reffing us for the first time since the Maidstone debacle in August. The single worst referee I've seen in 10 years of being in this league, he's actively got it in for us. 3-0 to Orient.

I am absolutely delighted that you have him today because that means we haven’t. During the three seasons we have been in this league we have had some truly awful referees but I can honestly say that the one game I had the misfortune to witness Mr Allison sticks in my mind as the worst performance from an official I have seen so far. I just hope, neigh pray, that we manage to swerve him in our last two games

Because the Orient board have decided, in their infinite wisdom, to essentially become sponsored by The Sun and as a football fan I can’t in all good conscience stand for it. 29 years to the day since this:

If we don’t go up and you turn up at Prenton Park with the name of that disgusting , lying rag on the front of your shirts you can image the reception you will get

I did claim that we'd have to wait for three hours in Halifax to change trains, but she got a bit suspicious
I managed to convince the missus I was taking her for a romantic Valentine's weekend in York back in our League 2 season...:hypo:

I don't think I was the only one with a disgruntled girlfriend that weekend! Our b&b was a stone's throw from the turnstiles.

Would hope clubs up and down the country would chip in, with all due respect to Os fans.

Haha, we lived in York at the time. Difference was we didn't live together then, so I could go when I wanted! Nowadays it require written consent and a fit for work notice.

Dagenham will have gone bust?

Congratulations to Macclesfield losing some of their best players, Askey re-building and going up. One of the best footballing sides in this league and deserve their promotion. Will be interesting to see how things go for them next season.

Well was a great big nuthin'. The Tranmere no 10 was quality though, proper footballer. Some of our forum idiots are drooling over Steve Chicken McNugget, which kinda tells you the sort of fuckwit we have in our midst. :ffs:

A very, very pleasing win and performance against Wrexham. Our backlines ages were 21, 19, 20 & 19 I believe and we only had 4 players over the age of 21 starting for us due to injuries. The only thing really missing again was that we need to be more ruthless in the final third when in front of goal.

Having said that, Wrexham were really poor and were not the team they were when Keates was in charge. They created nothing from memory and Brill only had a few catches to make.

Sam Allinson will almost certainly be a referees name I will look out for going forward, because he was in the main crap as pointed out. He made some wrong and odd decisions for both sides I felt and was far too fussy, including a decision to award us a free kick in the first half which he gave after letting play continue for around 3 or 4 seconds, which he did in our previous game we had him as well.

Typical half arsed shite from our fuckwits. Torquay battered us second half, okay they had something to play for but bloody hell everyone batters us at home. I really felt sorry for Torquay at the end. We're lucky to 'only' have just the 10 home defeats. I'm wondering if the end of season 'lap of honour' was put on by the club deliberately so that they got booed and humiliated before they slunk out of the door on June 30th. Nice final piece that to draw the curtain on what's been the most horrendous of seasons in the history of the club.
