Asante is surely the archetypal no9.. Any seasoned TFFer could have told JR it should have been Asante and Kabongoals up top with Mandeville behind, Quigley on the bench as an option. If I were a Spireite I would be hoping it was just a brain fart from Rowe and normal service is resumed next week!
Rowe is blaming the bad pitch surface for the changes but that doesn’t wash with me, deffo just tried to shoe horn Quigley in.

What a week a for Maidenhead, first they beat second in the league, then they beat the top team in the league, albeit with a homer referee who waves play on when our players go down in the tackle but gives a free kick when theirs do.
Oh is it?
Ah, the old "we were all spread out" excuse, last resort of the Tin Potters. We had 531 at Stockport last night, all in the away end, all counted through the gates. Real football clubs don't need excuses. :bdick:

It's just excuse after excuse with you guys isn't it. For the record, REAL football clubs don't need excuses, the fans just turn up, no matter what. We took over 500 midweek to Stockport and Salford, so I guess there'syour benchmark if you have any pretensions at all to being a real football club. Go on, stop making excuses, just do it. :£:£:£

Of all the excuses, this is one of the most cravenly pathetic I've heard to date. :fl:

We've all got excuses Brother. :ds:

We've all got excuses pal! :bdick:

Nah mate that ain't it, I was there alright, we just don't roll out the excuses when we lose. I even told y'all last week we were TERRIBLE. That was after a win. Pen or no pen, Woking deserved the win. There you go, didn't hurt a bit. Try it. :ds:

Some bloke (non-Wrexham fan) was doing a Vlog about the game yesterday, decent view of all three goals but in particular great to see some typical Yeovil playacting featuring at the 5.20 mark.
He was helped up by a colleague, limped along with support for a few seconds and then went down again.

Nice that we're living rent free in all your heads though.

We only played you yesterday. You're obviously going to still be on our minds as a part of post-match discussion.

Are reports on Bob’s Board that Miller has gone off the boil recently true?
He’s not beating his man as often as he did earlier on in the season, although he’s often doubled up on. He’s obviously not naturally a wingback. He’s up and down all game and I think that affects him as opposed to if he was played as a pure winger he would have more time up the pitch and more freedom to beat his man/has his fullback overlapping. It’s much harder when you’ve got to patrol the entire flank yourself. Im happy with him this season but he’s capable of better.

Yes. He’ll definitely be one we will be aware of in our March double-header, he was fantastic under Burchnall. I don’t like the sound of the proact arena suddenly becoming a cow field though. That is not conducive to prime Burchball.

It’s not conducive to Rowe’s style either.

We'll just take the three points and let them freefall

Sarll confirms he will be reporting the ref over the build up to Wrexham's equaliser.
I think we did the same in the reverse fixture to the ref that sent McAlinden off and let the assault on Ponti go.

He probably should have instructed his team not to play on when one of their team mates are down. Although if they did that then the game would be permanently stopped.

Aha, forum is back up and running I see.

Another defeat for us Saturday. Terrible, terrible stuff lately, I really do wonder if Parkinson has hit his wall. Any manager should be looking over his shoulder with the run of results we've had - 10 league games without a win, 1 win in 16, and no doubt a shoeing at Solihull on Saturday.

We could go down by stealth here.
